Sucks that we'll miss out on McKenzie. Yeah, he might have been a head case later and caused drama, so maybe we're better off in the end, but it would be nice to continue tapping into south-east Florida talent. From what it sounds like AH in Plantation is good, in the past we've gotten talent from St. Thomas Aquinas nearby in Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami talent is not far south of those two guys. Hopefully we stay on good terms with the coach at AH.

From what others have posted, this shouldn't be an issue.

Seriously. Probably never would've made it to campus... if he did, the odds were strongly against him staying eligible for more than a season. Basically, I looked at this as us recruiting maybe 1-2 seasons worth of a good return man for an open schollie.

Yeah, heard the same thing from a Tech person who is very credible. May be sour grapes, but I tend to believe it. Also heard he was really pissed that he took his OV there, and pissed that the "offer" wasn't really an offer. Poor guidance, poor decisions. Although his coach really tried to help him make the right one where he would have a legitimate support structure and opportunity to better himself, and he scoffed at it.

With all that being said... watch him announce for VT even though he's not a take because #McKenzie. Seriously wouldn't even surprise me.

I think he *may* be a take for Florida, but not sure. Definitely a take for Ole Miss which is almost certainly where he ends up at this point.

I was meaning JUCOs and small schools or anything. I think he'll end up at three different places. I'd be shocked if he goes to just one school for his whole career lets put it that way.
