Yikes. He is a really important recruit for us, as a guy who can play SDE and NG. Let's hope we can keep him at ND.

These package deals kill me. Isn't this how UCLA kept Marcus Rios from visiting ND prior to NSD in 2012? They offered his twin sister a place on the track team. We were desperate for CBs that year and we are pretty desperate for DL now, at least DL who can play inside.

Serra who is committed to Notre Dame, is seriously considering flipping to UCLA. Dickerson, a four-star prospect ranked the #21 defensive end in the country, committed to Notre Dame back in August. At the time it was a bit of a surprise, since it was believed UCLA was leading for him. Dickerson then appeared completely committed to Notre Dame, but once the buzz of the commitment wore off, the word is that he started reconsidering. UCLA's Jim Mora and Defensive Line Coach Angus McClure had an in-home visit with Dickerson before the dead period. McClure is a very resourceful recruiter, especially in his region of Northern California; being from there McClure practically knows or is related to everyone involved in high school football. If you remember, the connections and relationships of "Uncle Angus" were instrumental in getting Eddie Vanderdoes last season. This would be the second Northern-California, Notre-Dame-committed defensive lineman in two years that UCLA and McClure has flipped.

Not to be a prick but they need to quick dragging their feet. From everything i have read everyone is saying VanGorder is going to be the DC. Do it. I have seen nothing official about this. Its been almost a week and a half since his interview.

ND wasn't open for business until this week. Hard to go through the lengthy due diligence process on a guy when no one is there to do it.

And the university didnt open until 1 PM on Tuesday. I highly doubt the university doesn't appreciate that this needs to get completed in a timely manner
