It's to the point know, where I kinda wish The Browns had never come back...
Have they?

Don't know why everyone is so surprised that PSU's administration is able to keep a tight lid on the coaching search....they hid the Sandusky news for 10 years.

I don't know how to post tweets here but some guy is talking about Saban looking at hiring Kiffin as his OC. Has someone already posted that here? Any truth to it?
I thought it was maybe because they didn't have internet yet out there in State College....

Not out of the realm of possibility. Lane's a good OC and recruiter. If he kept his mouth shut and just did his job (and Saban would likely make sure that's how it went), he might be a good hire. All that being said, I seriously doubt he'll be our next OC. Word is the job will likely go to our receivers coach Billy Napier or former UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel.
That would be my guess. Part of me would love it BK would hire Denbrock as OC, then hire Neuheisel as QB coach. Dude can coach QB's and recruit. Of course he's got a past that's pretty shady though...and documented as such. I think Kiffin at alabama would be a good hire too. I always thought he was a good pro-style OC and good recruiter. Not sure Laney has ever coached/called with tempo though. Not saying he couldn't, but if Saban truly wants to do that, I'd think Neuheisel would perhaps be the better coach.
neuheisel should have not switched to the pistol or he would still be coaching...

I don't know about that. He's failed at more places, for more reasons. I think some people are fine as assistants or coordinators, but not cut out to be the top guy.
They don't even have radio. I've had to drive across PA a few dozen times and radio just goes dead around PSU.
Jay Gruden to Redskins.

I know perceptions of coaches vs who they really are off camera can vary, but Saban and Kiffin on the surface seem to have as much in common as Charlie Weis and Pete Carroll.
Lane may be a good OC, but i feel like hes a disease. Its risky having him around your team
i swear lane kiffin has 9 lives...how do all these kiffins remain in coaching. at prime gigs no less.
it baffles me.
monte had to have made a deal with the devil years ago for him and his kids...
