There are rumblings going around that I just heard about from another site that Davaris might be out at ND. Hearing it's academic issues. Again it's just rumblings, so just smoke here as of right now.

On one hand, these rumors don't usually just pop up out of the blue.

On the other hand, timing is questionable and I'd like a source that's even remotely legit before I really lend it credibility. Sadly, too late at night to start sending out texts and chasing this down. Will have to wait until the morning.

Wasn't there nothing to the DD rumors earlier though? Thought I remembered seeing that once the dust settled a bit with Golson. That DD was fine and somehow his name got thrown into the mix somehow.

There's something to the rumors but nothing definitive, per someone very close to the program. They don't know what it is exactly or even if it will come to anything (like last summer when DD had to get his academics in order), but this is not some random unbased lie, put it that way. I heard about it last week but hoped (and still do) that it will turn out to be nothing.

I efinitely wouldn't hit the panic button yet.

Good point. That would make sense with what NDinSouthBend said about the situation not being 100% resolved and no decisions made. He could be waiting to declare to the decision is final before declaring (assuming the decision in before the 15th).

Same shit or different shit than last time? If it's same shit, he should've been in hot water about when you're saying you started hearing rumors. That would've made sense. The fact that we've seen no movement and he hasn't declared for the draft or anything should indicate that there is nothing to come of this.

If it's different shit, all bets are off.

I know the Facebook groups are not worth much at all, but Peter Zabroski claims that DD has been suspended for Spring Semester because of his GPA not being up to ND's standards and will be back in time for the season. Of course, take it with a huge grain of salt.
