I know its just Tyler James, but on Sportsbeat 960 no mention of a mystery RB but the one he talked about most as a possible replacement was Mixon. He did also mention Michel and Chubby but Mixon got most of the discussion.

said it numerous times before...something must have either happened/scared them or they didn't view him as good as the recruiting services thought...i mean the guy is related to one of our coaches on top of being a highly touted position of need...but i trust the coaches decisions on all things...because unlike myself, they are putting their lively hoods on the line w/ their decisions

I dont think ND would take KC Mcdermott at this point. Mama and Smith are takes no matter what. Getting Bars/Nelson pretty much are no go's on McDermott. If they got a 4 spots in January and he wants to come Im sure they take him, but as of now OL is in good shape.

Im not one thats going to step over the line. If Loy isnt going to tell the world who it is, what gives anyone else that right? I dont think people see the big picture here. If the kid/family wanted it public, it would be public esp in today's world. The fact that he is committed to another University adds another element to it. ND also develops a recruiting plan and they can choose to tell sources and those sources can report it.

Obviously ND, recruit do not want that out, thats how rumors get started. Remember last week....there was a "mystery" transfer from another school and no one could figure it out.....

If you're going by Loy's criteria, the guys I suspect would be:

- Michel, Chubb, Roc & Hurd

There's also guys like Yearby and Freeman that I've never heard mention ND or guys like Dalvin Cook that I don't think would be private about their interest (has a top group in order even though committed at the moment)

Is there any talk about this on II? Haven't seen anything on ISD and Loy is full of **** most of the time (ex. Kain Daub is gonna visit, Lorenzo Carter is a DE, I'm #1 at breaking news etc)

Guys to keep an eye on:

Sampson: Starks (it'll be tough with his current situation though), Chubb, Michel, and Jeff Jones. He doesn't think McCaffery will pop up since he's a Stanford legacy.

TJ: Donte Thomas-Williams

That's all II is saying. No mystery recruit - just guys to watch out for. Loy is just pretending to have inside info that no one else has so he can get subscribers. He's done this shits before with everything you mentioned above.

The one problem here is that we'll have to move fast, IMO because he already has three officials set up with us outside his top 10. Hopefully he waits awhile before scheduling the other 2.

Mixon is my favorite 'spread style' RB in this class, unless you include Fournette in that category.

Yeah, it's gotta be a 2015 guy, right? Hard to imagine there are top recruits with ND interest in the 2014 class who we haven't offered.
