Its Bo. I am sticking with it. Reason: Look at Alabama's Rb depth Chart and his versatility/size, plus I have no idea and I like Bo. I can only think he transferred to IMG to get into college, hopefully any college he chooses :) High School | IMG Academy

Alabama RB Depth Chart:
Drake (So.)
Fowler (Jr.)
Hart (So.)
Henry (Fr.)
Jones (Fr.)
Kamara (Fr.)
Tenpenny (Fr.)
Yeldon (So.)

Im ok with this.

I might honestly take Bo over Hood given the choice. He might be more of a receiving threat.

But it can't be Bo, can it? We don't take recruits from Alabama, lol.

I hear ya Slacky, but I am skeptical because I still don't see where the rumored academic issue with Bo has been addressed in any form, which leads me to believe the staff would be pissing in the wind to pursue him with much effort.

Gotcha, LOL...I hope that does address it though, I'm still a little hesitant to be confident that will make everything 100% good for ND, given recent academic stumbling blocks with other recruits. I would also be interested to know what specifically the academic issues are. The reason being that I would want to know if it would be feasible to get, say, missing requirement(s), completed in the one year of HS he has left. I'm sure NDFister already told the staff to check into that though, so I shouldn't worry.

Me too. I am just giving you a hard time. Its a long shot and it is an OV only so far, so its not like he will commit but from what I have read and heard, he seems the most likely as a surprise and a "major recruit," as well as TP's inference of versatility if Hood had remained committed. I don't see taking two Rb's that are 6' and 200 lbs this cycle.

Now had Hood stayed he was 6' 220 and then Bo is 6'3"' 220 and is versatile (Z reciever/RB). That's what I am talking about. I am just wishing at this point....lol.

Hell, at Bo's current size he could play ILB too.

Man do I miss Sweetness. Will always be my favorite player, with Barry Sanders running a close 2nd.

Sampson gave his insight into whats next for RB this morning. Names to watch. Starks, Chubb, Michel, and Jones.

I still have no idea how all of these guys keep talking about Starks. I see no possible way he ends up here. Even if he and the staff both want it to happen.

So Loy's mystery recruit has got to be Chubb, huh? It makes sense. Georgia is another school that is stacked at RB with studs in the 2013 and 2012 class, and a second 2014 guy (Sony) committed there as well.

I tend to agree and keep in mind that both Loy and Sampson have said that its gonna be a lot of work for it to happen. Sampson doesn't have much confidence but Loy for awhile has seemed confident. In fact, he was asked today if it was more likely that we
1. get starks
2. get stud rb committed to other school
or 3. take a pass at rb this cycle.

His response, if starks is able to get into ND he will be a part of this class. TIFWIW, I'm just bringing their info.

Ahh... I see what he did there...

Chubb would be boss, but I believe Booker is his recruiter, not Alford.

Anyone know who covers Tennessee? Hurd would fit TPs "versitility" profile.

Right, I was wondering about that, that's def Booker's territory. Is it possible that Alford is involved just b/c Chubb is a RB and Alford is the RB coach?

No sh!t, Loy! ND has always been on top for Starks, and until he got expelled, he was a definite take for the staff, too. But he ain't getting past admissions now.

:whoknows:

This all hinges on the credibility of Loy, for all I know he threw out Alford's name because he's the rb coach.

I would be surprised if position coaches did not talk to their prospective players. I would think it imperative for that relationship to be a good one and a kid comfortable with multiple coaches.
