I agree with everything except I think the DOG position is going to cover and pay this year for the first time. That is going to mean a lot.

You know it took me a while. And I am not sure the sports writers got it. But I just saw, and talked to a former ND player that KR should emulate. Guy came it at cornerback and started as a freshman. Was a four year starter. Played on two NC teams. Luther Bradley. Hope KR gets a chance to meet him.

When BK was asked if Russell was staying in the starting lineup he answered"Absolutely" I am confident the Navy game didnt show his true talents since BK is very confident in his ability

the link btw, 9:15

I get the feeling that BK may know some things we don't know. He looks like he is in a good place. Certainly has me looking forward to Saturday.

Hagen, you hit the nail on the head saying he was in a good place. Fbolt, it sure is matter of fact. He finished the spring that way and started camp there. It just seems to get better. Teasing Hansen, talking about his family celebration, he sees the track they are on, and this is his third year. He ain't blinking. He is smiling.

I think years one and two Kelly couldn't afford to put his head up. He knew that if he was going to turn things around it was going to be by putting his head down and busting his *** early. Once the groundwork is laid you can "enjoy" things a little more. Not that he isn't still busting his *** but he knows things are where he wants them now.

Wow Kelly's energy is spectacular! He looks like he could cover a kick. Interesting to hear Amir may redshirt...

If he keeps his head straight, you may be looking at the best corner ND has had since Bobby Taylor. Yes I just said that.

Love this kid. I think I may have mentioned a long time ago that he's going to end up being the big surprise of this class. I hope he keeps improving!

played very well against a vanilla passing attack, but with that said with his lack of experience he has was outstanding

he actually looked at the ball!

Yeah he did, I think Diaco finally got on his DB coaches for our guys not turning their heads.

Russel is just a beast out there, he's got the speed and acceleration to stay with these WR's, even against a vanilla passing attack this week, he was definitely tested last week against Purdue. He's going to have another helluva game next week against Denard, I've got a good feeling Denard's going to force a few balls next week into the arms of our DB's. Keep it going boyz!
