White Men Can't Jump (and yes, I get the irony of this movie in my list in this thread, but it was the first movie I got to see actual boob in, and it was a latino boob. I, in no way, shape or form discriminate against the color of boob).
Brian's Song
Caddyshack
Bull Durham
Rounders (if you want to count it as a sports movie)

Rosie Perez's boob was AWESOME when I was 10 years old. It was the finest boob I had ever seen at that point in my life!

Remember the Titans and Hoosiers are easily my top 2. Everything else is an afterthought compared to those two.

this is directed at no one in particular, but if you feel it is directed at you, then it is.

I got a novel idea...come to the Irish Board to talk about, Notre Dame! (wtf?)....want to talk politics, and race bullsh!t? do it elsewhere. No one cares what YOU think about politics, race and other sh!t, on this board. just because you may post 500 posts on this board a day, doesnt mean you should discuss all your lifes views here. because opinions are like aholes, everybody has one, and most of them smell like feces.

Don't let your feces spill on to a Notre Dame discussion, you'll just ruined it for others. (or do you even care what others think?)

Guys, HE'S SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The site is fine. There's been some phenomenal discussion on here, as well as tons of great information. How can you say it is no fun at all when you post like 30 times a day? Obviously it is fun; either that or you enjoy punishing yourself.

I was just referring to how nice it would be without the (small) dicks.

Apparently, you just don't know what it is like to be able to laugh, and not have to be mad at everyone and everything all of the time. Maybe you are the one that is serious.

I am beginning to think you really have a thing for me, Evelyn!

Good Gawd Awmighty ... if you don't want levity, whimsey, politics or news and opinions that are not ND-centric, stay the hell out of the Leprechaun Lounge!!!

Heysus Effing Cristos, is self-control a lost art?

Yeah, it must be. But why not? This is the kind of stuff I am talking about. Keep it up la, I mean in a way you are a pain in the @ss, but mostly, I cannot believe that anyone is so small natured that they need to act this way on the internet!

NDinL.A.
Haha...even when you try and bag on me, you still sound like a douche and a blowhard, and you still double talk and act like a whiny little victim.

Just give it up dude. You don't like this site anymore, why not just quit? I mean, you'll get the attention you crave again by announcing that you're quitting, we'll all laugh at you cause we know you can't quit the site, and then you'll come back as predicted, and everyone will go back to ignoring your asinine posts. Win-win.

Lol at you, but seriously, just stop. You've embarrassed yourself enough.

The entertainment value of your "little angry man" is alone worth me staying here. But that is rather small of me . . .

More passive-aggressive bs from you. Just say it what you mean...we all know it's aimed at me. Unlike you, I can handle it.

LOL at this - the thread was absolutely fine. No one got crazy or anything; no one threw personal insults...they just all disagreed with your ridiculous assertion. If you don't like that, then (like I've told you about 5 dozen times) stop saying over-the-top things that simply have no chance of being true.

kmoose, I love your posts. But I wonder if you really needed to do it this way. It's not like we're your enemies on here or anything. Why not just come at us in a real way? Give MOST of the members credit for being able to think critically without being tricked into it?

What you did up above is kinda like trolling. Kinda reminds me of what someone else does around here (allow me to get into passive-aggressive mode), who shall remain nameless. His exact quote:

That type of stuff is unnecessary. You're usually above that.

JMHO opinion dude.

I see, per usual, Hollywood jumps into a thread to make it "All About LA". Pretty much everything you wrote above could be directed right back to you. You do literally every single thing that you listed about Bogs above. Look in the effing mirror.

I'll wait here for your whiney, crybaby mic drop rant in response....

The Notebook is my one chick flick (that... and Sweet Home Alabama) that I feel no shame in enjoying.

Never had a problem with anything by NS. Another chick flick, Practical Magic. Thought it was a kids kind of move; had some real scared kids for a while there!

I remember when my second son, Michael, was completing his MBA he worked as a shift manager at a Burger King. He had a line manager. At that time "Blind Side" had just come out and since the characters name was Michael Oher, we communicated back and forth with some of the movies clichés. This came to the attention of one of his hardscrabble line supervisors, a very interesting character, with all kinds of body art, piercings flaming red hair and a little bit of that aura of butch at the same time. She asked what we were talking about, and we cited the movie, and she replied in that gravely voice of her'un, "Oh, that chick flick!" I just about died.

So I would like to submit "Blind Side" as a good sports movie and the best chick flick going, at the same time!

If you don't like Talledega Nights, you're not American. I'm Ricky Bobby. If you don't chew Big Red, then **** you.

I didn't really like the movie at first, but it grew on me. Same as Anchorman.

No, I don't consider NASCAR a sport. To me a sport is defined as two or more teams going head to head with a single minded goal to work together and achieve victory. A ball, puck, or other inanimate object must be involved in scoring points as well.

To that extent some would argue that racers have teams and work together or whatever, but...no....they don't count in my book. At the end of the day it's every man for himself. I also don't count gymnastics as a sport. It's extremely athletic, not something I could do personally, but it's an activity or event in my opinion and not a sport since it involves less teamwork and more individual achievement. I once got in a debate with an ex gf over the qualifications of gymnastics as a sport and she told me to get out of the house

So it has to be team oriented to be a sport? No tennis?

Have none of you seen the "Program"??? Now that's a classic sports flick, it's basically the SEC outline on how to run a program.

LOL...same old prick. Sure, you fooled people when you 'quit' and came back and said you wouldn't take this stuff so seriously and you were 'different' now, but I knew you were bullshitting, and seeing as how you've attacked people lately, I was right.

Only difference is, you used to bitch about TP and you used to whine INCESSANTLY about how Kiel was the messiah and better than Mauk and how he was going to start as a freshman and how he was better than Golson (OOPS!). Now that you're back, you bitch about me and whine about how ND messed up by not getting Schutt and how Doug Flutie isn't athletic (probably the most uninformed argument I've read on this site in 5 years written by someone other than bogs). Same old, same old.

You aligned yourself with the biggest blowhard this site has ever seen...nice choice. Good ahead and have the last word...the only one worth laughing at is bogs; I'm not doing this anymore with guys like you. Life's too short. Talk football or stick your nose elsewhere. Have a good one.

I think the best actual sports movies would probably be...
1. Bull Durham
2. The Natural
3. Remember the Titans
4. Major League
5. Hoosiers

The order varies depending on the season and my mood. 61 is an honorable mention and I haven't seen 42 yet.

Then there are movies that have sports as a major theme, but don't really show many game clips, etc.
Best in that category would be Field of Dreams and Rudy.

Then there's the best sports scene from a non-sports movie: The Naked Gun.

Chick flick...When Harry Met Sally is a clear winner, IMO.

EDIT: Gotta mention Rookie of the Year because the Cubs won it all. If only...
