You guys have too much time on your hands.
This from a guy who throws up posts quicker than FGCU makes turnovers.

Perhaps move the race comments to it's own thread as I found many of the comments intersting but they don't seem to pertain neither to the Ferguson family nor a transfer.
The NCAA and The Feds were the ones that developed GSR, etc, by race not the whiskey man. Like MLK I dream of the day that people will be judged for their character (and performance) and without regard to the color of their skin.
Exactly..I am retired and am now on vacation in Arizona (86 today). Eat your heart out.
Happy birthday!

where did this kid end up
Still hasn't found a school. In June, Ferguson visited Florida Atlantic, the program Carl Pelini took over(3-9 last year). From Notre Dame to basically a commuter school that can barely compete at Division 1 level. Last year, they beat Wagner. Hopefully, Justin will have better available options.
Makes you wonder why he left if pickens are that slim.
I thought we already had determined/discovered he was forced out for a drug violation?

I can see probation/football suspension. But what kind of drug violation gets you kicked out permanently?
we were told by several ND student posters that drugs in the dorms= expulsion. I don't know how true that is but I didn't think to question them since I don't know where the bathroom is on that campus.
When I was there, drugs in the dorms = kicked off campus and some quality time with Res Life, but not expulsion. But it's been more than a decade and maybe things have changed.
Certainly not a place where drugs in the dorms are by any means common, though I'd also hardly think a drug-related explusion from Notre Dame would blackball a kid straight out of D-1 football.
Hasn't Res Life supposed to have become less strict in the past few years?
rumours were that he was a pothead

Could have been. In which case he's hardly alone. 27% of NCAA football players, according to a survey last year. "About half" the Oregon Ducks.
NCF - Oregon Ducks don't deny the drug culture in Eugene - ESPN The Magazine - ESPN
NCF - TCU's marijuana problem is just one of many among elite college programs - ESPN The Magazine - ESPN
Anyone know ND football's drug testing policy?
If you get caught with drugs on campus in a dorm you are expelled. That's what we are told from the very first day.
Not totally true Jimmy. Getting caught having drugs for the first time = 1 semester suspension. Getting caught selling is the automatic expulsion. People have come back from drug suspensions before. i.e. Kyle McAlarney

Depends where you live boys. In Alumni its case-by-case but people do get expelled, but that's because its the one illegal thing our rector doesn't allow...
Really? Rozum's cool with all other forms of illegality under this roof?
Beastiality? Regicide?
Deviant Dawgs.
Could you imagine what the media and other fan bases would do with that one...?? lol
It's only a matter of time before someone from the SEC gets nailed for it.
