Kelly will add wrinkles. We'll ride the D line that got us here, and we'll ride Theo and Tyler, but I'm sure BK has a few plays that will challenge our imagination.

I don't trust the ball in his hands after the catch getting smashed by Bama's backers after basically sitting out from contact all year in the biggest game we've had in an age. Let's ride the horses that got us here, but by playing aggressively, up-tempo and with confidence.

I agree with him not having contact all year, but I can't wait to see him break lose on a punt tonight. He is going to be an exciting player.

Sorry about the digression, back to CB.

I was super bored this afternoon so I decided to get some beers and watch practice clips. He needs to get more involved this season. Bubble screens anything to get him into open space. Needs to bulk up a little bit but has all the potential. I don't know if he will ever be as good as Davaris because I think before Davaris leaves he will be on the of the best WR in the country. I know we all know all of this already but just figured we should talk about it.

I know people expect Kelly to Co. to be adament about running the ball like in 2012, but I personally think that with the OL being rather thin it makes more sense to go full-blown Cincy mode and use Brown/Daniels/Neal/Jones as much as possible. Jones is a very fine possession receiver and the other three are more athletic than any corp of receivers I've seen outside of 2009's.

Would love to see more bubble/jailbreak screens. Get the ball out quick with some blockers in front and let athletic ability take over.

Love to see some jet sweeps as well. Like to guys have said get him headin up field with the ball. Definitely think he'll have some more opportunities but his year will probably come in 2014 when TJ is gone. Then the 2014 receiving core has some crazy game breakers. IMO it will look something like this Davaris, CB, and Neal. Scary

TJ Jones is our "perfectly professional" receiver, i.e. he does almost everything right. We underrate him. Davaris Daniels is a freak athletic stud. He just needs to get his routes run precisely as well as TJ. I honestly don't know what Neal will bring, as we almost have seen nothing yet --- my hopes are high. Chris Brown is the lightning bolt. If he continues to develop he will be a coverage nightmare.

Our receiving corps need back up to no one. We MUST get Everett in position where he can deliver the ball authoritatively and in his rhythm. AND hit CBreezy deep. If those things happen, we'll terrorize DBs.

Agree on TJ, was very happy to see how he played last year. I thought he showed the mental toughness last year we hadn't seen from him yet.

TP any insight into CB's diet and workout program. Just interested to see what Longo has set up for Skinny Chris. Thinking lots of lots of hi protein/amino shakes and a shite load of squats.

Longo: Hey Chris... come here.

CB: Yeah Coach?

Longo: See what Lou's eating? Eat that.

CB: Alright coach!

Longo: And see what Troy is lifting?

CB: Yup!

Longo: Lift that.

CB: You got it!!

LOL!!! That would be simple, but I have a feeling Mr. Longo is pretty specific:. I'm thinking it's more like this.

CB: Hey Coach

Longo: Hey Chris, let's talk about your diet.

CB: Sure Coach, I've got a good one.

Longo: Chris, you sure do, here it is.

CB: Uh, sure coach.

Longo: How does 2 cups of yogurt, 2 chicken breast, 2 slices of Salmon, 2 cups of Almonds, and 2 amino shakes sound?

CB: Great coach. Sounds like a well rounded day.

Longo: Chris, that's your breakfast. Repeat 4 times a day. Spread your yogurt out to keep yourself regular.

CB: Uh, sure coach. You wanted to talk about my workout plan?

Longo: How would you like to run like Tavon Austin. S#!+, nevermind, you already run like him. Chris, this over hear is a squat rack. Proceed till you puke, have a shake. Continue those two steps until you weigh more than the bar or fill that trashcan.

Played some basketball with Chris last night. Not a bad player, and a really nice guy!

Pretty cool, hoopin' it up with a Notre Dame football player.

This can't be true. No college football player would ever make a decision that could negatively affect his ability to prepare for next season. :alcohol:

If I could turn the page
In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

But I couldn't find a way
So I'll settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Let's hope that you haven't blown his cover on this and an unamused staff finds out about it. A lot of staffs don't like the players engaged in basketball with non-team personnel [risk of accidents] let alone one with a leg injury.....
