Very encouraging update from II regarding Folston:
He is announcing at the UA game on 1/5, and does not have another visit planned for this weekend (the only weekend he can go anywhere before then). His only visits to places that have the same coaching staffs intact are ND and Oregon, and we know that Chip is in the air.
He also is not bothered at all by the Bryant commitment - in fact his HC thinks he actually might have liked it by citing his love for competition and the fact that it is now a world of 2 back offenses.
Cocoa (Fla.) High Top247 running back*Tarean Folston*has a decision date.
*
"He's going to try and do it at the Under Armour game," Cocoa coach Johnny Wilkinson said.
*
"I think there are six (schools) that are factors. Notre Dame, Oregon, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State and South Florida."

Ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 9 running back and No. 116 prospect overall, the 5-foot-9, 185-pound Folston has been tight lipped about his recruitment. He has already taken official visits to Notre Dame (Oct. 19) and Oregon (Nov. 6).
one on one's vs inside backers is soooo overrated imo. RB should win that every time
Nice video. A real weapon out of the backfield. Theo with a higher ceiling? Seems to have a little more top end speed.
Happens a lot in games. It's what makes Theo so important to us, and why we want Folston so bad. They don't just win, they win big. That's not overrated IMO.
Tennessee, USF and FSU all trying to get him to visit this weekend. USF wants him in a bad way and Willie Taggart was a good hire there. Will be interesting to see how he can recruit.
If Taggart gets Folston to visit, USF is gonna be a problem.
Taggart is a tremendous coach, and will turn one of his RBs into a stud, no questions asked. Just hope it doesn't end up being Folston.
If they lost Gran, would Green be back in play for us? I remember there was some optimism around his recruitment earlier.
Man I would trade Folston for Green. But I don't think Gran made the difference in his recruitment.
For further clarification, UA AA is 1/4, Army AA is 1/5.
Really long weekend because the NC game is on Tuesday.
Jan 7 is on Monday.
I agree that is the one place you do not want him to visit Taggart is good enough to pull off an upset.
Folston has known for awhile he was the back up plan at FSU he was still interested. FSU is about to lose their RB Coach Gran who was leading Collins' recruitment.
He will stick with FSU
Oregon hasn't even offered Folston?
