I think we are firmly in the mix. He has talked to a few of the commits already and has expressed great interest in ND.

On the other hand, if you want to ruin a nice Sunday morning, check out DRobs twitter page. Lotsa of yummy pictures from this mornings visit to UF.

I would not be surprised if commits to them today... he seems to be eating up his visit. Hope he stays the course and we get another shot at him

It will most def be a tough pull but the times have the feel of change about them so you never know. But you can tell he's falling for the gators.

Clemson leads. We aren't in his top 5.

Quick change of events. Not that Clemson leads but that we have dropped out of the picture. Can't say that I'm surprised but I did think he'd throw out the ND name for a while longer.

Never felt good about ND's chances with Robinson.

Mom wants him to stay close.

That stinks. I actually think ND had a chance with him. A friend of mine who knows the family said his interest in ND was legit. Doesn't mean he was a lock by any means but they were a little more then just a "hat on the table". One thing for Pops to want you to stay closer to home but when the Momma is all over that, yeah, tough to beat.

Per II Says he'll probably official to ND but plans on commiting by the end of July. Arrived in Atlanta for the Rovals 100 challenge in Clemson gear. HINT HINT.

All these recruits committing and taking official visits... it's gotta be a nightmare trying to recruit for college coaches. Never certain of anything. Swinney is a great recruiter but I can't imagine he likes recruits who do this.

Chi, I know, that's what makes recruiting so difficult for us as fans. Even when you get the occasional flip to your side it doesn't always make up for the kid you lost out on. Recruiting is so fun to keep up with but at times can be hard to stomach!

I can't imagine anyone does.
On the other hand, why would we host a kid on an OV who's committed elsewhere, has already visited and doesn't even have us on his short list?
I mean, I know why. Because why not? He might flip, so what the hell.
But one reason (among many) this process is so screwy is that there are so few checks on the schools in terms of who they go after. They get kids on campus and it stirs up all kinds of stuff.
I wonder if limiting the number of OVs you can host would rein things in a bit. After all, the kids can only take five. Maybe the schools can only host 50 or 60. They'd dole them out more judiciously, and maybe "commit" starts to reflect the meaning of the word if it's a little harder to "take my trips."
Would also help prevent situations like last year's USC game. I'm sure they all had a blast, but how many of the dozens of recruits we hosted will actually be wearing a gold helmet this fall?
Of course, maybe limiting officials just boosts unofficial visits, especially the kind paid for under the table by boosters. I don't know. Dirty business, this college football. I do love it, though.

Answering my own question, with the help of the indomitable Keith Arnold: Two.

Ferguson (who'd already committed) and Russell. Plus Tee & Greenberry, for what they're worth. Though the unofficial list included eight more, and maybe Kiel, too? I can't remember. Plus three '13 commits (so far).

Mark Wheeler interview with Demarcus states that Florida is his #2 school right now...assuming Clemson is #1

My impression is that they combine an SEC atmosphere with a nicer, more laid back, family atmosphere. Basically SEC-lite.

ND actually stopped by his high school last week. As of now he hasn't scheduled a visit. He will visit Florida next weekend.

Dont think anything will come of it but its interesting that ND is still pursuing top WR's with 4 in the class.

Possible that they see Fuller as a CB if we cant pull in another CB commit and they want 4 WR in the class still? Contingency plan as far as i see it, but I agree that it's "interesting"
