I think BK is dangerously close to having fully awoken a sleeping giant. Recruiting has and continues to reflect it, and the on-field results will reflect it over the next 12 weeks. I think recruits that pay enough attention can recognize this, and surprises like Randolph flipping so quickly are going to happen frequently from now until NSD

If the issue is distance, why not UVA? Yeah South Bend's closer than Stanford but it's still a plane ride or long-*** drive.

After reviewing these gifs a UVA verbal is all but guaranteed at this point.

Me thinks this has as much to do with Anzalone and J. Smith as it does Prosise and Greer.

Lax please tell this man how long the drive is you use to make.

Been awhile but I believe the fastest I ever made it was 8.5 hours, speeding the whole way and stopping only once in Ohio to fill up.

Typical drive is just south of 10 hours assuming a couple stops or a food break, good traffic, and speeding by at least 5 MPH the whole way (which is slow even for a conservative driver). It's a very easy day trip no matter what way you slice it... leave by 9 AM and you're in by dinner time. Also, flights are ~1.5 hours from VA to Chicago + ~2 hour bus/transit time to South Bend... which is substantially shorter in every respect than the VA to Palo Alto transit time via plane + car/bus. And Palo Alto is obviously not driveable.

Yep, and Randolph is from Richmond if I'm not mistaken, so add 1.5 -- 1.75 hours. Fastest I ever did Richmond to south bend was like 10 hrs; typically more like 11 hrs 30 min.

That I am not sure about. ND has always his second choice. Doug and dad liked ND. mom liked Stanford

Just thought of a real possibility of what NDs LB class could look like:

DOG: Jaylon WILL: Randolph MIKE: Anzalone CAT: Muhammad

My god.

Deeb and Mattingly are no small fries either. This could end up turning out to be a legendary class at OL, LB, and CB if ND wins what they are supposed to.

P.S. I say corner cause I honestly think we grab MA and maybe another also depending on scholly numbers
