Do you give yourself a red card when you kick puppies? Or is that just a yellow?
Yellows for puppies. Baby Mexicans are red cards.

Red cards for days.
What do you guys think will happen in the Colombia Japan game tomorrow considering Colombia is basically a lock to win the group already...
I've got Columbia 2-1 in my Yahoo pool. They are pretty much a lock for 1st as long as CDI doesn't beat the Pirate Ship by 4. Japan has nothing to lose and will play with pride so they won't be able to totally rest, but I do think they sub a bunch.

The one thing that really helps us is Germany is really already through... we'd have to beat them by like four goals for them to have any worry... I think if they get even one goal from us they may sit back... hell they may even rest some guys to begin with
I'd love to think that Germany will rest a bit, but knowing their depth (even if they sub a lot) it could be ugly......., and thinking they would prefer to go into the knockout round with some mojo (after a poor showing vs Ghana), I'm at this point hoping for a Portugal/Ghana draw or narrow Portugal win.
Are you referring to Greece as he Pirate ship lol? I've never heard that---what's the story behind it?
Nicknames[edit]
Traditionally, Greece is referred to by the media and the Greeks in general simply as Ethniki, which means National. The team is often called Galanolefki (Sky blue-white) due to its kit colours which are also the colours of the Greek flag. Both nicknames are used for the country's national teams in other sports as well. During the opening ceremony in the UEFA Euro 2004, which took place before the inaugural game of the tournament between Greece and hosts Portugal, a replica of a 16th century ship was used referring to the Portuguese expeditions of that time. Greek radio sports journalist Georgios Helakis commented that "since the Portuguese team appear in such a ship, it's time for us to become pirates and steal the victory". Eventually, Greece beat the hosts and Piratiko (The Pirate Ship) emerged as the new nickname of the team, repeated at every win. Especially after the Greek win in the final to Portugal, the new nickname was established to commemorate their coronation as European champions.

I didn't know it either until some of my Euro buddies sent me a few Greek National Jerseys and T-Shirts.... I'm German/Italian so one of my Greek buddies decided to compete with two of my other pals (in Germany and Italy) and send me more gear.
Compliments of Wiki...

Obviously a draw is what we are rooting for but as I said earlier there is very little chance that happens. You will see some wacky shit at the end of that game because both teams are going to try and score. Ghana might leave one guy back and bring everyone else up at the 83 minute mark or so. It's going to be crazy.
Its spelled with TWO Os okay??? lol
I think yeah, Colombia wins, decent game, Japan puts up a decent fight 3-1 is my guess.

I'm rooting for Colombia just as much as Greece tomorrow. I'd say Greece has a 33% chance to win so we'll see. Would be epic as Greece has never made the knockouts at the WC.
Think you manLOL [???]
Are you the new Grammar/Spelling Hammer here on the board? Can't a guy type and treadmill without being corrected...
I spent like two hours watching these, awesome gifs dude ty. Whats with the dude kicking the ball boy? Thats hilarious...
and that last one, so funny seeing what really happened and how the kid tries to defend himself yet knows its hopeless.
Ah soccer.
Get off the damn treadmill while texting. Multi-tasking is fallacy. Each task suffers from a level of inattention, in rotation.
