That wasn't the point of my post at all. I'm just using the info I have, and just used his name as an example. If Loy being blamed hurts your feelings, take out his name and put in any reporter you wish. The point is that ND needs to make reporters fear crossing them more than reporters fear crossing their editors.
Loy being blamed doesn't hurt my feelings.
I'm just hoping to bring some awareness to people who obsess over his 'errors'.
IMO, it's clear that Loy and rivals did nothing wrong with the Crawford situation.
We're all very smart, objective ND fans, so try on this scenario:
Loy talks to Crawford, and Crawford and his family say on Monday he's visiting ND. Crawford says he's talked to Rivals too (or plans to) to let them know. Crawford doesn't appear to care if it's reported on, maybe even straight up says it's not supposed to be a secret.
Is Loy supposed to sit on that because there's a chance Hoke finds out and in turn, hurts ND's chance at getting Crawford to visit? Hoke's finding out anyways.
