Last year's Junior Day was HUGE, and the program wasn't even "hot" at the time. Can't wait to see what happens this year!

Yeah. And we this years EEs will be on campus. That could be a huge help to land some of these kids

No doubt! My ONE AND ONLY COMPLAINT is that Jaylon wasn't able to EE. Though, I'm sure he might be there anyway. He seems to make it to every big ND recruiting event. God I love that kid already lol (no pedi)

Normally I would be on board, but I'd rather not pull a Texas and let our momentum carry us into the summer. I want to have room for guys like McDowell, B. Smith, Peppers, and other elite 4 and 5:s: guys later on. Early commits are exciting for us fans, but with a projected smaller class, I don't want to fill it out too early.

+1. Although, I'm sure the staff realizes that elite recruits are taking ND seriously now and they will slow play for the big time talent. From all accounts they've been great at letting recruits know how high on the list said-recruit is.

I imagine we will be a little more selective next year. 12-1 will help out with that a lot!

With Jay Hayes already in the mix, does anybody have a feel for which guys on the DL are higher on ND's list than others? Maybe this is a better question for TP or GB.

I think this would be ideal. I've read several places that we lead for Smith. Williams is Rochells teammate so you've got to like our chances at this point. I expect Trumbetti to commit when he visits with his mom. McDowell is the wildcard!

not so concerned about plugging depth needs across all positions

Thanks. That was my impression. Would the staff take Enoch's commit now? Basically, would they take Enoch now AND Clark later if he wanted to commit?

Dunno. The list I gave was from 247. Also I think Williams is still up in the air right now. He wants to come but not sure how it will work with Rochell being on his official.

kind of hard for me to consider snodgrass having an offer after he was told that wouldn't accept his commitment at this time...am i the only one??

i don't think williams will commit this early either.

With what is expected to be a small class, we can only expect some early pops (which we already have), a few around the spring game, then I would expect the bulk late season through NSD. Predicting this thread/season to be the slowest on record due to highly selective recruiting.
