that's too bad hate to see that stuff happen regardless of who it is. wish him the best in his recovery.

So are you saying Saban faked the ACL that Hart's having surgically repaired tomorrow morning?

The article notes Hart will miss the season and may miss Spring Ball as well from an injury sustained in a 7 on 7 drill while a UA student. Hart got rave reviews for his play in the Bama's A-Day Game. That doesn't sound remotely like a manipulating roster "adjustment".

I hope Hart, and all athletes, heal better than Aldridge did.

No. I'm saying Saban is sleezy and pressures kids he doesn't feel can contribute at a high level (whether it be because of injury or lack of talent) into taking medical hardship scholarships so he can get their 85 spot back. He's a dirt bag who doesn't value the two-way commitment that comes with a scholarship.

In other words, relax. I was joking -- I'm well aware of how talented he was before suffering a devastating knee injury. Good luck to the kid. I hope he heals better than James Aldredge did.

Rumors are abound that he is gone from Alabama after this year as Saban will not renew his scholarship. The rumor goes that he accused a teammate (Xavier Dickson) of breaking into some cars and Xavier did not take kindly to it and beat him like a rag doll. Dee came back later with a knife. Dee was a no show for two weeks at practice in November but did return. Take it for what its worth.

The only thing unusual about this happening in the SEC is the fact that Hart snitched. Breaking into cars is hardly cause for concern in the dirty south.
