Finished Bloodstained yesterday. Great game, not sure if I liked Curse of the Moon or Ritual of the Night better overall but both were amazing games.

Oh yeah,... it’s amazing and does all that my buddy said it would. Simply plug the usb into the PSC and it’s suddenly filled with thousands of games. Any game that had a game genie or game shark hack at one point is also loaded with those ready to turn on,... it’s incredible. I’ve been playing the Star Wars arcade games, the 80s one and the 90s one,...

I can ask him for details on what exactly it is and how to get another one.

Beat Hollow Knight last night. Finished the first three pantheons as well for 111% completion. Could practice a bunch and grind my way through the 4th pantheon for the "Pure Completion" achievement, but I just don't have it in me now. Might come back to it later.

Probably the best Metroidvania I've ever played before. Add it to your list, Aaron!

Ha ha, in reality my video game hunger is growing but I just down't have time in the late spring/summer/early fall months.

I'm jealous and can't wait to rejoin the conversation. I need to pickup Red Dead 2 where I left off in April, then I have Hollow Knight and Last Of Us pt. 1 that I'd like to beat before the 2nd one comes out.

Still haven't played the recent God of War. Any other recent releases worth grabbing? Upcoming games?

This is always my most active time of year for whatever reason... I get energy I don't have otherwise. I read more, I game more, I play electric football and customize more... (on that note I have something to share in the hobby thread...). FIFA, Madden, NHL, all come out around this time of year... bigly gaming. I always get back into the Show this time of year too with the MLB playoffs...

The rest of the year?? It's like I can't find time for any one of these things, let alone all at once.

It's funny that you say that, because I have the same opinion on Ritual of the Night. I plan on getting it eventually because I want to play another SotN, but I've not gotten it yet because the game looks fugly.

You honestly don't like the animation style? If so, you probably shouldn't pick it up. It's an excellent game though. Finely tuned combat, huge world to explore, and tons of content to discover. Took me 33 hours to get to 111% completion, and would probably take another 4-5 to eek out the last 1%.

About four games in and Madden's pre snap adjustments are all different (defensively at least). It's made it pretty challenging as that's a big part of my game...

I still play NCAA religiously, and even after many years, Madden had essentially kept the button mapping for pre-snap adjustments the same as the old college game... until this year, dammit.

I played against a friend yesterday while we were at a fantasy draft in the morning, and it took me a quarter and a half before I realized my pre-snap button inputs on defense weren't doing anything lol.

It also threw me off that I thought it would no longer show you your play pre-snap on offense.

Switching from L2 to R2 on me after all these years???

But seriously, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Star Fox, Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda, Pilotwings, F-Zero, and Breath of Fire are all worthy candidates. Breath of Fire is underrated imo. 2 and 3 are better, but 1 was decent too. Then Capcom kinda fucked the series up with 4 and Dragon Quarter and I think they got out of the medieval RPG console market until Dragon's Dogma and the Monster Hunter series about a decade later.
