What sort of a character are you building?

You are prob carrying a bunch of other currency you can exchange.

"Crowns" are the main currency in the game. Since it currently says you're worth 667, that's how many crowns you have. Other types of currency have to be exchanged into crowns at the bank.

Most of your money earned will come from selling stuff you've picked up. Start with the weapons and armor in your inventory. If it's not an upgrade over what you're currently using, and it's not a crafted piece of Witcher gear you plan on upgrading later (which should be stashed anyway), then you should sell it ASAP. They're heavy, weigh you down, and generally sell for a lot. I only use Svarog Runestones, and sell all the rest. I only use Quen glyphs, and sell all the rest. You should always carry at least a few weapon repair kits with you, but you don't need 20+. Sell those down to 5. The smiths in the center of Novigrad will give you good prices.

Try to keep crafting materials like gems and rare metals. But there's no need to hold onto tons of herbs. Take a look at what you need to upgrade your current bombs and potions, and sell most everything else (to an Alchemist).

That should be more than enough to get you to 1000 crowns. And you can get it all back from the Captain once you arrive, so don't worry too much about the cost.

New DLC for "Fates of Atlantis" is out. The first of three episodes.

It should be good... they've copied the "Curse of the Pharaohs" recipe from Origins and created Elysium, a beautiful afterlife world to explore.

"Curse of the Pharaos" will go down as my favorite AC thing, period, so I'm pumped to get into this to see if it holds up.

Has anyone played ARMS on Switch? It's a bizarre premise but it's probably the best executed motion controls I've ever played. Only did the demo but I'll be looking to pick it up on sale at some point.

I know I've said TW3 enemies were hard before, but right now I'm in the middle of the "fight with Edimmara", and that beast is unstoppable.

In general, vampires are the toughest enemies in the game. Ekimmara are no exception.

Hopefully it drops a mutagen for you so you can brew the Ekimmara decoction.

When you hit points like this you have the option to drop the mission after you die. If your chosen battle plans don't even come close then go that route. In honesty though I only came across one or two foes I've had to 'come back later' for... usually I get my butt kicked a few times, adjust and win.
