Battlefront II trailer had leaked. Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, and Phasma all playable characters. The EA panel at Star Wars Celebration I'd Saturday at 2:30.

I'm all-in already.

It seems they're actually going to do a legit story of some sort (seems to be a story alongside "Aftermath"), and also go the route of the original "Battlefront" games and allow you to play planets/factions from across all eras in multiplayer.

I'm about that life.

One of my favorite things to do in the original games was to set up a custom battle, putting the Droid army against Empire forces.

Also, space battles. Fuck yes.

They would have to change SO MUCH about the first game to even get me to consider it... It's rare I ever come away form a game thinking I didn't get my money's worth... but BF1 was probably the single biggest waste of money I've ever put into a video game. Fool me once....

Hearts of Stone is good, and definitely worth your time, but Blood and Wine is incredible. Toussaint is a huge, gorgeous zone full of vampires and other bad ass monsters. Was my favorite part of the game.



Totes. Picked Yenn on my first playthrough, Triss on my second, and Yenn is clearly the superior choice. She may be bitchy, but she's way less annoying (and you get a 2nd cutscene with Yenn, too). She's also apparently the "canon" choice for those who've read the books, FWIW.

I'll prob get BnW this weekend... I assume it opens right up once Dloaded and you can play it along side the main quest and such??? Meaning it's not something that has to be completed once everything else is done, or at a certain point??

Correct. Though if you're not level 32 yet, you might struggle for a bit with the new content until you catch up on experience.

Yeah, I'm kind of tired of giving money to EA. Maybe if it gets rave reviews after 3 months.

Customizable weapons is a big selling point to for this guy.

All the guns felt too similar in Battlefront.

I must be out of the loop on gaming. We bought and played on a WiiU for my kid over the last few years snd liked that well enough for what it was. We just bought an Xbox one and got Battlefront. Both me and my son love it and play it all the time. I dont like it doesnt have a campaign but I dont hate it and I dont feel like it was a waste of money. I definitely dont think it sucks.

It's depends on what you're looking for. If you're a serious competitive FPS gamer, it's not the game for you... it doesn't do enough to let individuals stand out. Similarly, if you want a story mode and customization, it's not for you, particularly from a "value" perspective.

But, if you're a Star Wars nerd like me, or looking for some easy-to-access fun in a beautifully rendered Star Wars world, it does fine. Some game modes are bad, but the good ones are really good. And hopping into a TIE is pretty cool and worth it for some of us.

I was able to successfully hunt down a Switch on Saturday. I had to drive about 30 mins to the west side of Chicago to find one at a Walmart. Totally worth it!!! So far I have played it more in handheld mode than on the TV, but both are great. Playing Botw on the bus this morning on my way to the office was just as awesome as I hoped it would be. I'm def buying Puyo Puyo Tetris when is comes out in a few weeks. And Mario Kart is gonna be great for this system.

Witcher 3:

crafting, I'm not just grasping something here... I have diagrams, I go to craft something, the armor that I know I have the diagram for is not an option, I look around for the diagram and can't find THAT... I'm sure it's some simple thing I'm overlooking but yeah.... I've looked at a couple online guides and they aren't really helping... each one just goes like, "Get a diagram, go to blacksmith, craft armor."

Not really anything super specific as yet, just a number of different diagrams that I know I am in possession of.... how about Cat School gear?? I know I have those without having the game on, though that's just a random example.
