I'm finding that BF1 on PS4 still has a huge online base. The 4 new maps from the French Expansion are very good IMO. I'm not playing as much at the moment bc I am playing BOTW, but I hop on for a quick few matches every couple of days.

Can someone help me remember a game I played once upon a time? It was browser and text based, multiplayer. You had kingdoms of different players. Raised gold to recruit dragons. Went to war with other kingdoms. There were wizards and halflings and shit.

Runescape? lol jk

Had a hard time hearing the dialogue this time, music drowned it out a bit. Didn't get to watch it live, but watched a bunch of the feed on my lunch break. Now that you have Flammie you should be able to get the sea hare tail and save that desert town. It's on a small island to the west of the first continent you start on, if I recall.

my grandfather was in Italy and the Deserts of Africa...I wanted to honour him...The game begins in Normandy and has no gameplay set in the places my grandfather served.

Irish? Who'd he fight with? British I assume?

My fathers father was a bombider on B 25s in the European theater. He was later a POW in Vietnam as well as flying in Korea, all that stress took years off his life.

naw dude i was just paraphrasing the dude who's talking in the video i linked above. :)
.....................
My own grandfather joined the Volunteers as a young man in Ireland during WW2 which was basically a kind of reserve setup to replenish the national army after 5,000 members resigned and joined the British Army/other Allied forces. Ireland was neutral in the war so none of these guys saw any action.

Lol... Oh my bad...

I know all about the neutrality which is why I asked... I'm aware of some Irish who joined with other forces. So I thought, 'if his grandfather fought, who was it with?'

Yeah the Irish neutrality is kind of strange alright. Alot of people were so distrusting of the British after WW1/Irish War of Independence that they just didn't want to get involved with any Allied Efforts involving them.

I did a bad thing. I pre-ordered Battlefront II.

I did a double-bad thing. It was the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition.

No ragrets.

Idk if I ever played The Force Unleashed II or not... I know I played the first one and beat it. I think I may have played some of the second one but didn't finish for some reason.

I loved the first one, though. Got that crystal for the black lightsaber and played the whole game over again just to use it. Also liked the unstable gold a lot.

Wow I wouldn't have been able to play this game back when it first came out and was considered canon. This dude Starkiller is OP AF. Thank you, Disney, for purging the Star Wars universe of this bullshit.

I enjoyed the liberal use of Force Lightning, as well as the nearly unlimited Force Pull strength.

Pulling the Star Destroyer out of orbit was cool as hell. Can't remember if that was the first game or the second.

Boo hiss.
I know the pre-ordering part was bad, but I actually think there's value in the Deluxe Edition. Not really consumer value, but industry value. I want publishers to realize that people will pay $80 for a fully executed AAA title. I much prefer that model over $60 plus another $30-$50 for a season pass. I think it's worth "rewarding" EA for changing their monetization strategy after they made every wrong choice with Battlefront. Putting actual game content behind a pay wall is the dumbest thing they could have done. Their DLC model fractured the community into 16ths: people with no DLC, people with all DLC, people with just Outer Rim, people with just Bespin, people with just Death Star, people with just Scarif, people with some combination of two of those, and people with some combination of three of those.

So Witcher is amazing... I like it better than Elder Scrolls... question, I'm not big into potions and such... whenever I've delved into them I always feel like it was needless... what am I missing.

side- I play on various difficulties but usually roll on Story and Swords... I've kicked it up and down at various times.

Better than Skyrim or better than Morrowind? Two very different things
