My roommate gave me some Steel Reserve as he is off alcohol for some time. Currently drinking out of a tulip.

DFH The Perfect Disguise. A very good double IPA

Fermenting some tepache for the weekend.

Very cool, how long do you ferment? this award winning (small) brewery just down teh road does spontaneous tepaches, pretty good stuff.

It's my first time making it actually. Probably will do a 2-step, 2 or 3 days for the primary, then a day or 2 after bottling for secondary. Looks good and really wanted to try it for Game of Thrones this weekend.

LOL. Poor tulip.

My same thought. Reminds me of this in a sense. One time in college I come home to find my roommate watching tv with a tumbler in his hand. Swirling a clear alcohol and sipping. Ok, I thought. Looks me dead in the eyes and says, "I feel like such a man right now. Drinking Peach Schnapps!"

Been into bourbon lately. My favorite this past week was EH Taylor Small Batch. Really good, might be the best I’ve had in my short time drinking bourbon.

Tonight it’s Elijah Craig Small Batch. Smooth. Not quite as good as the EH Taylor.

So for our next batch of home brews we were going to do a PB&J stout and agave ale... today I'm thinking of changing it up.

a coffee and doughnut stout and doing the PB&J as an amber... we are also floating around a french toast amber...

thoughts?

That sounds good. Maybe try adding lactose and go a milk stout direction.

Got the last 2 heady toppers at my local spot. Think I'll sip on one during the B&G game.

Gonna crack open the tepache tomorrow and mix it with some rum (Mt Gay) or beer (Pacifico/XX).

Tonight is just a taste of the Mt Gay after sons Lagunitas Imperial Stout.

Dos XX with tepache earlier today.

A buddy brought over some homemade rice wine that was alright.

Finishing off with Unibroue Grand Reserve 17 that I meant to drink last might but got too tired. A very tasty dark ale, a bit hot on the end but so damn good. Gonna buy another bottle this week.

Tecate is one of my full no go beers,... to each their own. Drinkingnew belgium passion fruit and Karbach lemon ginger Radner with family. Both very good for hot weather. Tossing washers, drinking,... good stuff. New Belgium was good, I don’t care for NB but this is good stuff

Lots of Tecate with some tepache too

Got turned onto Tecate in the late 90s on yearly trout fishing trips with a bunch of guys from El Paso and Juarez. Loved it with a very healthy squeeze of lime and a little salt.

Randomly developed a liking for gin, club soda and splash of lime. Can't get enough of them.

Have always been a bourbon/whiskey guy, suppose this is my alcoholic evolution.

Martini extra dry, stirred not shaken.

What does everyone here use for the ratio in their martinis?
