Cincinnatti area residents, what should I look for?

The two big local breweries are Rhinegeist and Mad Tree. They are both sold all over the place. Rhinegiest Truth is probably the #1 seller here. I really like Cougar and Hugh.
Mad Tree Lift is their #1 seller along with Psycopathy.
Whiskeyjack,
I tried a new wheater tonight. Bernheim.... not too pleasing to me. Though it came highly recommended I did not enjoy it. It was very thin compared to many other wheaters I have had. Don't know if you have tried that one or not but I would pass on it. Not worth the price IMO.

I've had Bernheim on my list for a while, but only as a curiosity. As you likely already know, a traditional bourbon mash bill is roughly 70% corn, 15% malted barley, and 15% rye. Wheated bourbon swaps out the rye for wheat, which softens the whiskey and allows more barrel flavors (caramel, vanilla, maple, etc.) to come through. Bernheim isn't a wheated bourbon, but a straight wheat whiskey; its mash bill is 100% wheat. From what I've read, this produces a very strange liquor that's so soft it's more akin to a white wine than a proper whiskey. Your experience lines up with what I've come to expect from it. I'd probably buy a pour if I found it in a whiskey bar somewhere, but I don't plan on shelling out for a bottle. Thanks for the warning!
Prosecco and some pizza on the way to celebrate the Solemnity.
