I do also like ice, bourbon, & ginger ale. I'm the oldest 34 year old you'll meet! Lol!

Well I guess it depends on the bourbon. If you are using Jim Beam I can fully support the mixing.

Exactly what I use. Sometimes cheaper than that. I have the good stuff to sip on, but when I'm mixing, it's Jim or cheaper. It's also what I order at bars with the well bourbon.

I have long thought Dog Fish was overrated generally speaking... it's one of the more expensive national brews out there and I've never been in love with anything they've put out... everything I've had of theirs is too damn floral for me.

Truth. A friend of mine went to work for their brewpub. He said to me "does everything have to be so damn bitter?!" It's like they have to curl your toes with every brew. I was at a local brew pub tonight with lots of Dogfish options, and my thought was, "pass, what else you got?"
BTW. Big difference between Stout and Porter. I know we have a discerning beer crowd on here, but don't let people fool you. People act like they are very similar styles; they are not. Just because they are both black beers doesn't make them peas in a pod. If you like one, don't assume that you'll fall hard for the other.

For my Christmas Eve beer it is AleSmith YuleSmith Winter Release. Lots of toffee and caramel malt, with grapefruit, orange and pine. A really good hoppy red.
