We try to get too flashy to impress the playoff committee and make a few mistakes, which Wake Forest capitalizes on for a couple of early scores. We pull away in the second half.

ND has covered the spread 7 out of 9 times this year. Every time I find a reason to doubt them, they go and do something like blow the doors off Pittsburgh 42-17* (something that NEVER happens regardless of how good Pitt or Notre Dame are) on the road. So I'll take them to win by 4 TDs on Saturday.

With it being senior day, I doubt the team comes out sleepy. This should be our most complete game on defense since Temple. I expect ND to be up by about 2-3 TDs heading into half, and push it to 4ish TDs heading into the 4th before taking the foot off the gas. Wake Forest is 93rd in F/+ and UMASS is 97th, for points of reference.

Should win by 25+, but due to WF having 2 weeks to prepare (here come the trick plays), it's senior day (seems like ND doesn't play well on this "emotional" day) and that fact the Irish don't have the "bury their lives alive" attitude, I'm sure WF will get a few gimme scores in 2nd half. Irish win 41-24.

I'm not predicting it because my predictions are always way off but....I'd really like to see Alize be utilized as a weapon, just to give teams another player they have to account for.
