Just paid for the 25 year premium membership and it doesn't seem to be activated... Do I just need to wait a little while?

Does anyone know why blocked users are, in fact, NOT being blocked? I added a user to my "Ignore List" and yet there (s)he is, clear as day in my feed...

Have you tried removing them and then re-adding them to that list?

Yep, it is a known bug with this version of vbulletin. I've talked with their support team about it and the issue is in their queue, but isn't a high priority at this point.

Dude,.... My ignore list works fine... and I love IE, right.... but if the half dozen or so pompous jack holes that consistently ruin thread after thread start showing up again I may have to back off for a while, a few bad eggs are just totally insufferable.

I occasionally get a message saying I'm not authorized to view a particular page that I'm subscribed to if I try to access it from my notifications page. I have to go to the Front Page and go in from there. It's only temporary and seems random. Happens about once per week.

hmmm, next time it happens could you either share a screen shot in a PM with more or tell me which forum it's happening in? I looked at your account and there are no differences in your permissions compared to everyone else.

Sure, I'll take a screenshot and send it to you next time. It happened to me today, which is why I mentioned it, but I don't remember which thread. It's just random as to which thread, only happens in one at a time, happens about once per week, and never lasts long. Like I said, I can access the affected thread via the front page, but not my notifications page.

I can confirm it's happened to me a handful of times as well. One time it was the General Team thread, another time it was a Political thread (the Politics thread itself I believe) and a few others. It'll come up with the "You're not authorized to view this page" and I can't get in for a week or two, but it's just a particular thread. Hasn't happened in a month or so unfortunately, so I can't reproduce it for you right now.

Odd one here. Previously my front page feed would have all of the threads with new posts. But within the last 48 hours or so, it's only showing a top 4. When I click to view all, it's only showing posts/threads from one forum. Example, recruiting threads no longer show up. Any ideas on what I did and how I can get back to seeing all threads?

That was a temporary change we made just to ease some stress on the server. The Front Page, especially "The Latest" takes up a lot of resources when it is refreshed/reloaded with that much traffic. I've added the rest of the forums back to the list but will keep it to top 5 for the time being.

Thanks!! That makes sense. The view all now includes the threads, appreciate the help!!

user settings -> profile

Should be the the top field User Title

Edit: Looks like that option was disabled, but it should be there now. Let me know if you can't find it.
