haven't noticed the cpu rev but also have had the TV up and not paying attention. Still taking up a ton of RAM

What happens if you try to edit one of your posts or add a post? The icons still get screwed up for me after I do that, at least on the post that was changed/added.

I still have problems trying to access topics from the front page. I click on a topic and it takes me to the forum screen. It's random though - not every topic.


EDIT: And my icons are messed up but the icons on other posters are fine.

I still can't see the thread titles on the bottom of the page.

Icons seem to be present right now.

A bit of good news: the owners are in the process of installing the security certificate. Please bear with us as I understand this may take a few days of rebuilding certain parts of the database in the background.

I was having that issue with the BK thread last night.

Just keep trying; the back-end should eventually reconnect everything appropriately.

I'm critical when actions aren't taken and appreciative when they are. Thank you all for the improvements. The icons are not longer little blue boxes with question marks.

The Article Link Tool now actually provides a workable Link. That hadn't worked for me for 6 months to a year.

More significantly for me, when I am repped the link back to my post now works. I reported to Phammer about 10 years ago that that didn't work for me and back then Tech Support/Programmer's couldn't resolve the issue. For the past decade when I clicked on the link to a rep it took me to the first post in a thread NOT to the post of mine that was repped. I used to have to pm people and say, "Thanks for the rep by the way, which post of mine did you rep?" Tech Support's suggestion was for me to open a new account.

The "First unread post" feature now works. It also hadn't for years.

I don't know who the individuals are who fixed the formerly unfixable ... but thank you!

I look forward to the new Certificate so the damn red warning "Not secure" will go away as well.

P.S. Perhaps I spoke to soon. I had embedded The Mormon Tabernacle Choir Singing Handel's Messiah, "Hallelujah!" but the embed failed, a feature that used to work for me. I tried to embed three different versions of Hallelujah, none worked.

Thanks again for what's fixed ... my Hallelujah will have to wait a bit.

New problem today.

When I try and access some threads(CFP, BK Revisited, Northwestern) from the front page I get an error message saying that page cannot be found. I can get to those threads through either the forums page or by going to my User CP page...


EDIT: Here is the error message:

Whoh....immediately after I left this page I got a pop up that Kaspersky Protection blocked a Dangerous URL on this site. Said it was apparently a phishing URL pointed to: thaitradeusa.com

I don't suggest going to that location for obvious reasons, but maybe it'll help the mods track down what ad is linked to it?

Here's what I'm talking about. After I Cleared All Browsing Data I came back to this thread to read a reply. All icons looked normal. I made a small edit to my last post, and just the icons from my post became busted:

My bad... I had no idea. In my excitement for the season I was buying everyone in the ND v Louisville thread a clover for the upcoming season. I got shut down yesterday but managed to buy a few more today... and then got shut down. Not just clovers, but everything.

It all makes sense now! I seriously didn't know there was a site limit on gifts, that's interesting. Wonder how long it takes to fully replenish stock? These are pixels we're talking about here! Have a quadrillion more vBucks for the gifts...just don't use them to buy more gifts for awhile

Tapatalk issue. When I'm on the main "timeline" or "unread" pages, everything looks good initially and then when I start to scroll through the thread titles, everything disappears and I get "no results."
