Wasn't he Isaac's primary recruiter? Parents always know what's best....

Dude had numerous chances to align himself with someone other than Kiffen. He knew something was just not right with USC, probably why it took him all day to get his LOI in. Kid would have been a superstar in South Bend.

Yup. And he's the guy who spent the weekend with him the week before NSD recruiting the hell out of him and getting him to not visit ND on the final weekend. Isaac had a huge bond with him.

But as soon as Kiffin got the names on the dotted line.... Lane doesn't really give a crap.

usc arent the only culprits though, bama and flordia did this too. waited until the signing day was over and then had coaches move on

Looks like Ty Isaac should find a good prep school, and take a year to overcome his tendancy to get injured. Get his academics in order, take (what they call in Ohio) some post secondary. And then shop for the greatest College football team in the nation, following in Amir's footsteps, kind of . . .

Edit: I don't think he has to sit out his year enrolled in college does he? And if he is not, can't he play for a prep school?

Feel bad for the kid. First lesson for him though, love is blind. I just don't get how you want to play for a guy who has bombed out everywhere he has gone and is doing it again.

I just wish that this stuff wouldn't just resonate with the players it's 'too late' (i.e., already signed) for, and somehow be documented for the future (so this **** turns off future recruits). I guess what I'm saying is, I hope BK and other coaches alike are keeping a profile of Kiffen and other schools and showing them how they whisper sweet nothings in your ear, until you sign then you find out Kiffen really doesn't give a **** about what he tells you.

Keep these tweets from the current USC players and USC LOI signers for 2013.... Show them (along with the other **** Kiffen pulls) to the 2014 class. Do you REALLY want to play for this idiot?

If he wanted to transfer to another FBS school, he would have to sit out a year unless USC agreed to release him in which case he could play this year. He could go to one of the smaller divisions without sitting out and without USC's permission.

This will sound A little harsh but I can't feel bad for these kids. You knew you were going to a program that is on probation for cheating. You knew you were committing to a coach that is a top of the line *******. You watched your fellow classmates get dropped and now you are surprised something like this happened. Either admit all you care about is ladies, fame, and stop looking for sympathy. Or open your eyes and find a good institution that makes you happy. There are a lot of them out there. Sorry for the rant guys

Haven't been following since signing day, but has TI made any statement about wanting to back out?

despite the supposed super men that make up their starting 11, their defense is no where near what i would consider a proven championship defense... maybe they will be by the end of the year, but I doubt it. Between the offenses they will face in conference/playing us and above all, most likely having to beat Oregon twice I just don't see them playing for the national title unless everyone else loses 1-2 games across the board... I think its a hell of a lot of hype honestly.

time will tell...

I do think they had better do it this year, despite what underclass talent they have.

Interesting thought... ND has seen great classes 'fall apart' into good/solid classes year after year it seems and a reason often given is the lack of success during the season...

with this class they (USC) currently have... I will be interested to see what impact a couple of losses does to their class. They have no room for error here so if a couple of guys jump ship late...

anyway, just a thought.

This guy sure was crazy...

Not that this is implying anything is going to happen but despite signing the LOI, would he still be eligible this year despite not actually having been attending any classes? I don't know when somebody has officially crossed point of no return.

Side note: I don't feel bad for these kids because you didn't do your proper homework. Lane has a history of shadiness attached to him and if you thought you were gonna change that, you're at fault.

FYI USC has something like 4 coaching vacancies now... and the best part? They can't fill them.

Kiffin already reached out to two coaches in the PAC12 offering big pay raises to come be the new OL coach at USC. Coaches from Oregon State and Stanford both told him to go pound salt. Why? Because who the hell wants to work for Lane Kiffin.

This means Kiffin... a guy with no experience and no coaching tree... is probably going to end up reaching for bottom of the barrel staffers from small time programs that he doesn't know to fill out his staff.

USC fans want him fired NOW.

Man oh man, justice at its finest. Sanctions weren't enough to fully sink the ship so God stepped in and gave them Kiffin...

I'm hoping for 9-3 next season, just so Hayden thinks he might be turning the ship around.

Nice reference! The professor had a name too but I can't remember it. I think it was Roy Hinkley but not positive.
