TURF - it's official

that's a beautiful thing. it turned out way better than anticipated. I was all for the turf but I was hoping it would have the real grass look. for example just off the top of my head there is a big difference in the look of smu, southern miss, texas tech etc. flat fake looking surface and the texas, iowa, and even ohio states that have the real looking grass. the latter just seems to be more fitting for us. I think they call it omnigrass or atleast that's what it was when I played

That's pretty neat, but they could have had it completed in half the time if they wouldn't have kept moving the dirt from one side to the other. lol

It's always foggy there and cold right? Too bad he will have time to catch ND games this fall after Tigers end them in playoffs once again. Wait......catching ND games is a great thing. My bad.

So maybe I missed it, but has no one asked the players how they felt about turf after practices? Surely the players that have played on thd field prior have voiced an opinion, good or bad.

I haven't heard anyone ask that either.

Their practice field has been turf for quite awhile. They should be quite comfortable and used to it.
It's probably best for them to play and practice on the same type of surface.
