When ND starts beating Navy with regularity thats when the pay off comes!
It doesn't count if we beat them when constipated?

I don't think that's dark green, light green. I think it's all the same color but they mow it in opposite directions so it lays that way and looks different when the light hits it.So is it not alternating dark green, light green with each row of turf? I was expecting this:

Yea I posted that comment right above yours. It hit me after I thought about it. I knew that about the real grass. So I'm assuming they roll the turf in similar fashion to get the same affect.

I am sorry. I cannot deal with this guy. I was thinking this was the best, most progressive article he ever wrote, then he had to tee off on Rudy and a gold field!
Boy!

I heard they have to re-do the field. Everything got misaligned.
Because Knute Rockne is rolling over in his grave.
lesar is a tool (who uses the phrase"dimes to donuts" not once but twice! in a published article in the year 2014?)
ps the article wasnt that bad.
he's put out far worse.

Now let's get a video board so Jesus has something to watch during timeouts.
That looks great. And that last picture makes it look like the greens are faded somewhat.
Ahhh, the modern era, finally. It's going to be beautiful.
I understand what you are saying, but........
modern era? Really? The University made a business decision to replace the sod that they were having to redo multiple times a year. It's not like ND has said, "To hell with doing things right, we'd rather win every game. That way our fans can feel better about themselves as they try to claim some kind of ridiculous superiority over their friends, coworkers, family, and acquaintances, who are fans of some other team."
If it helps with recruiting, that's great. But I don't think anyone should try to characterize this as some kind of fundamental shift in the University's values or priorities.
