I read the article. Seems like no one else that worked on the show could be contacted or got back to Slate about this to corroborate. This is also Slate we're talking about, far left reporting and "Mostly factual" grade when it comes to Media Bias. So right now it's basically one guy's word about events from 20 years ago, coming forward in an election year of course. So the appeals process likely begins. CNBC said that process could be months to years. They said they'd be surprised if he ends up with jail time given his age and unique position. House arrest could be likely, or probation with fines/restitution. Sentencing doesn't sound like it'll occur until July.

It would be a win/win for America, but unfortunately there's nothing in the Constitution that prevents him from running as a felon, He can't vote in his home state, and he can't own a firearm, that's about it.

I wonder how much of his base would hold their nose and vote for a Jeb Bush. They may not show up for Jeb. I'm not sure Democrats want that either. They've invested too much in going after Trump and making him unlikable for Independents. If Trump is suddenly off the ballot those efforts are wasted and Jeb may be a more likable candidate for the undecided crowd. I feel like their playbook is to tar and feather Trump as much as possible, but leave him as the nominee. At this point just about anybody probably looks better to an undecided voter than Biden or Trump.

Why? The economy is great. The jobs are available. Market is solid. We have the best inflation rate in the world of the G7. I’m doing great. Biden hasn’t committed any crimes…..NATO has expanded, we are actively ruining Russia by the day with $400 FPV drones. We are pretty much supporting Israel…. Not sure what the problem is other than he is old.


He didn’t steal top secret documents and keep the hidden from the FBI. He hasn’t committed fraud to get elected. He didn’t get convicted of 34 felonies, rape, and owe nearly $500 million in judgements against him. He didnt have an army of syncopjants commit crimes and try to steal an election in at least five states…. He didn’t attempt to stop the certification of an election and remain in power in complete opposition of our constitution. Biden didn’t extort Ukraine for political dirt. I mean I could go on even after this.

If you are upset Biden is president fine but we are doing much better than ever before in almost all economic categories.

And I’ll go on record and say that if Trump is the nominee in November Biden will win easily. In all elections since the presidential election Dems are over performing polls routinely by 10+ points nationwide and have won nearly all special elections, will pick up at least 7-10 seats just from fixing illegal GOP drawn maps and and a handful of competing seats just. Cause Trump is on the ticket. Down ballots are gonna be a bloodbath for the GOP. Add in abortion rights on the ballot in swing states and the GOP are gone learn some things.

These were the legitimate court cases. The NY case has been and will always be a farce.

I despise Trump, but concocting a new legal theory to fulfill a campaign promise to prosecute Trump (even though the Feds passed on it) was always a joke.

We all knew that this was the likely verdict. Given the contortion of the legal argument in this case, I'm guessing it will likely be overturned.

I'm much more interested in the legitimate court case in Georgia and the documents case.

I have no idea what Trump said or didn't say, really nothing would surprise me. But if Noel Casler says "the sky is blue" it should be taken with all the salt you can find.
