Thinking about scheduling a golf vacation around the week of Labor Day. Any recommendations?

Just got back from the annual family vacation on the Keys….I never wanna come home after this week. Weather was awesome, the mahi bite was weak but got into the yellowtail one day. I really need to just move there.

Just got back from our week in north captiva. Still alot of work to be done clearing debris and getting some houses fixed, but overall was nice. Can only imagine how beautiful the place was/will be when the vegetation comes back. Definitely will be going again

Leaving tomorrow for a guys trip (my 14 year old son and I) to the Black Hills. I've been there a few time before (Harley trips), but this time it will be even more special. We're taking my Rubicon and towing our RZR. Looking to do some hiking, Needles highway exploring, fishing, and taking in the trails.
I've got him a little freaked out about bears, wolves, and mountain lions, lol.

My wife got a job working remote for Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

We’ll be heading to campus for her orientation… besides the most famous stuff, someone give me a travel guide to our great Nation’s capital.

Places to eat? Sights to see besides the monuments, Arlington, etc?

In Georgetown, M and Wisconsin Streets-good area to walk around and find a place to grub. Same with Old Town Alexandria across the river. There's also Navy Yard/Capitol riverfront area around Nationals Park. Sorry for the general areas but I don't head downtown very often any more.

I went to RPM in DC and it was pretty good. Steak place Maggios (?) was really good.

Went to a speakeasy called ESL (Eighteenth Street Lounge) and it was a good time besides all the furrys coming from comic con.

I’m staying in Arlington and haven’t had as much fun as DC.

In mid-November I have to travel to Traverse City. I am thinking about taking my wife and hanging out for a few days longer than necessary(I have vacation time I have to burn). Are the same good things to do there at that time of year? I've never been so just wondering if it's worth staying a couple of extra days..

Found a youtube channel that shows luxury train vacations.

Some of them are stupid expensive but the 1 through S Africa looks cool and reasonably priced.

Austin, TX. Any must do restaurants/bars/attractions?
Franklin's BBQ is legendary, but I've never been there because I didn't want to spend 5-6 hours of vacation waiting in line. Terry Black's is very very good and I can't imagine Franklin's or any other place is significantly better.

Not sure of your age, but 6th street has tons of bars and other fun places to explore

Taking the wife to Miami this week. I got her a racecourse driving experience but we will be there for four days. Any suggestions for food/clubs/ nightlife? We will be staying in South Beach and already plan to go to Little Havana.

Always enjoyed Mangos, not your typical club though.

For more traditional Club Space or LIV

Garden House Latin restaurant ( i recommend NOT eating on ocean ave unless you really just want to people watch, in that case due it over drinks)
havana Vieja
ole steak house

If it's warm/sunny during the day there's some great pools to chill, listen to music, have a few drinks if you don't want to go out on the ocean all day

The pool at Nautilus is a favorite of mine, not sure what is is like this time of year though. A lot of solid restaurants in the vicinity of Joe's Stone Crab too.

You're going at a great time before a lot of the snowbirds and tourists get there. When I was there in March it was a warzone.

I went in march one year (awhile ago) for their music fest. Unbelievable. Made Vegas feel like a retirement community.

Just returned from White River, SD hunting Mulies. I highly recommend the Gus Stop. Not only can you gas up, the culinary delights inside are wonderful. Unfortunately, their F'Real machine is down.

I went to Stiles Switch BBQ and was not impressed (n). Brisket and Ribs were only okay. Smoked snausage w/Cheese and Jalapenos on the other hand-rather tasty. I expected better.

Lots of places are resting on their reputation. Good choice with the sausage, people hardly ever get that but I've never had a bad smoked sausage from a BBQ place here
