It is crazy to think I joined in 09 after we played number 6 SC close in a loss just in time to gnash teeth at the 6-2 Irish losing out to Navy/Pitt/UConn/Stanford.

I lurked on the old Irish Illustrated for awhile and tried NDNation, but the “thread view” concept over there always pissed me off.

I'm a real "newbie" here and don't recognize 85% of these names. Got introduced to IE when DIII was bitching about this site and left IB shortly after. It sounds like I missed the glory days of IE but it's still a hell of a lot better then those whiney IB boards.

But he ages like a fine wine, so it's understandable.

Got introduced to IE as I was craving information and the message board on ESPN wasn’t cutting it. Stoney and Spinner took me under their wings initially. Surprised the board made it this long tbh with all the turmoil that happened with different ownerships and premium info early on, but definitely here to stay now.
