Taylor Lewan is a shitshead

I'm not sure if he should be suspended. If an ND player did something that dumb I would expect Kelly to run his arse off after practice and make him sit for a series. But I could be persuaded otherwise since, well, he helped cover up Brendon Gibbons' rape. Yes, he aided and abetted a (fat) rapist.

Thoughts? I'm hopeful the B1G comes down on him, but I doubt it.

It actually appears as if he bends down to talk **** then grabs a hold and twist. Yet the explanation him and Hoke gave were that in one capacity or another he was simply trying to help his QB out of a pile after a play.

Lewan has always been a dirty player. I would say he is one of the dirtiest in all of CFB. He will learn a hard lesson once he gets to the pros. The first time he tries to pull some stuff them ole veterans will make him pay.

Thinking about it his action actually was Targeting.

He didn't use his head but he tried to rip a DEFENSELESS player's head off.


But he did say "my bad" so the apology trumps Hoke taking any punitive action.

They're all but eliminated. At 2-2 in the conference, they'd need to run the table including a win over Ohio State to even get back in the discussion. MSU at 5-0 would have to lose AT LEAST 2 games, and then Nebraska or someone else would also have to finish 6-2 in conference to cause a 3-way tie at the top where you could get into funky tiebreakers.

So at minimum for Michigan to even have a shot at getting back in the race: MSU go 1-2 or worse in their remaining 3 games, Michigan go 4-0 including win over Ohio State, and Michigan get help from other teams unless MSU goes 0-3.

Michigan is still hypothetically in it, but for all intents and purposes they're just about done.

Definitely. I'm not sure he will, though. The B1G seems to think they need to go the extra mile to protect the brands and reputations of UM and OSU over their other schools, so I kinda doubt he gets suspended for this one. Should hurt his draft stock though.
