Douche award goes to the Stadium Ushers....

In addition to the two reports of harassment in the game thread, one of my buddies at the game said he was almost tossed for suspicion of being intoxicated. the guy really doesn't drink. he may have a glass of wine or a beer if I apply major peer pressure, but he's almost a 50 year designated driver type

Been saying this forever. Worst by far of any of the multiple venues across many sports. That little bit of power goes straight to their heads I guess. It's not all of them but many bad actors for some reason....and don't even get me started on the ND police/glorified mall cops.

Jerry Tillery played the single most dominating performance I’ve seen by a ND defender in my lifetime.

Was out with friends watching the game.

"This ain't what I'm used to seeing from your boys John!"

"Jesus, they are moving the ball at will. Stanford needs chunk plays."

Was beautiful to watch Notre Dame assert their will on a solid football team.

Seriously tho, how great was that Coney INT??? That was a potential program changing moment... in years past ND gives up a TD drive there

that was awesome. love to see him as a RB in a goal line situation.

i've been told to sit down and relax several times, but it sounds like things are getting a little crazy. wonder if something happened vs Vandy that made them step up things.

Really happy with everything other than the fact that I don't want Wimbush on the sidelines. I've wanted Book over Wimbush since last year, as QB, but I cannot deny that Wimbush is a monster athlete. The coaching staff needs to get him in the game in some vicinity. Who was it that converted Arnaz Battle to WR? Davie or Willingham? If one of those head coaches can get Battle involved in the offense, this coaching staff should find a way to get Wimbush in.

Yes, I know Battle converted because of injury.

Most satisfying win in how long? It looked in doubt for a bit at 24-17, but 38-17 is an ass-whooping over a #7 team. Bryce love had one good run.

-Dexter needs the carries going forward, probably deserved them last year, but Adams was hot early.
-Book has transformed this offense. Love what he brings, other than maybe the scramble to the sideline for 1 yard multiple times. 278 yds and 4 tds, and no turnovers!
-Boykin was beastly
-I thought the D would regress after Elko left, F that guy, they are better now.
-D-Line and Tillery (4 sacks!!) were great
-Lets hope bars is ok, that didn't look great.
-Best part is not folding on the big stage.

How is this the same team that played Ball State????

Per CBK in postgame on NBCSN, Tranquill broke his hand in the first series, but continued to play. Wow!

Game Ball: Tillery

It feels like USC last year. Just hoping to avoid another let down. Backups on offense stepped in well. Pass rush was awesome.

Tillery isn’t that punk kid who let us down in the desert anymore. Great job go him.

Now I get while Drue didn't catch that INT
I hope he can play going forward. I know you put guys back in with that type of injury because it can't get worse, but what about next week. is he in a cast?

Get well soon Drue

Tranq is a beast. Remember he played a half on a torn ACL without realizing?

Some thought JT was going to grad transfer to the Left Coast at the end of last year. So happy he stayed. ND MAN

Yikes. A lot of injuries today.

Yeah. Looked like we lost Bars for the season, guessing some type of ligament damage. That's a monster loss.

Might've lost TJ Jr for a few weeks. Looked like a nasty ankle twist, hoping it didn't dislocate or we'll need Armstrong and at least one of the youngins.

At least give us 4 hours before killing the wood.

Game balls

CBK for making a tough call last week, and both OC and DC. Great prep and plan all around

D - Tilly Tilly! Honorable mention to the entire front seven. Even Bilal was a gangsta tonight.

O - Book. Book. Book.... Honorable mention to Boykin and Dex

Redeemer award - Elliot baller play after whiffing a few times. Mack for a game changer TD after whiffing a few times lol

Comeback award.... Dex is pure swag

Seeing Dex makes me happy. Its nice to see a back with vision and explosion. The difference between a stable of 3 star backs and Dex is really, really apparent.

I love Book's playmaking and decision making. What a difference he has made in offensive continuity and production...I think BW is done unless Book gets hurt.

I know many on here seem confident we'll see Wimbush again but I'm not sure. Baring something horrible I'm not even sure we'll see BW sprinkled in. The only thing Wimbush does better than Book is run but Book isn't a statue himself.

As someone who has wanted Book over Wimbush for quite some time, I should clarify that I want Wimbush in the game but not as QB.

They are awesome, but

Jafar
Bars
Drue
Jones
Boykin?
and Kareem beat up

Kareem has been beat up/helped off the field in every game we've played. And he has come back in every game.
As for the rest, we'll see. None but perhaps Bars looked all that bad.
But I wouldn't mind a bye week next week. That's for sure.

Seeing Dex tonight reminds me of what I always expected to see from Greg Bryant (RIP).
