My final answer for this question in a vacuum would probably be Kanye West's "Power" but unfortunately he's a schizophrenic Nazi so back to the drawing board lol. If the line "Screams from the haters got a nice ring to it, I guess every superhero needs his theme music" isn't appropriate for ND I don't know what is.

It's a shame he's so crazy too because Kanye is from Chicago, so there would've been a legit geographic claim as well.

It's the perfect entrance song and you don't even need the lyrics like A&M did below, taking any criticism out of it. He's also the biggest hip hop star alive today, blowing out stadiums and setting concert records all over right now.

I love the song and you can feel however you want, but I'm telling you that there's a 0.0% chance that Notre Dame decides to make their permanent 4th quarter anthem a song by the guy who made "Heil Hitler". That comes up in discussion one time and Kanye song's are out. (Which is 100% the correct response by any adult looking to protect the ND brand.)

A&M plays it. I just don't think ND has any interest in that smoke. I would also think they'll be aware of the fact that the guy is legitimately crazy and still alive so it's not unlikely that he'll say/do something horrible in the near future.

If we're being honest, they can put whatever pump up song they want at <insert here> moment, it just has to be consistent and not change every season. That's how traditions start. I didn't know who Dropkick Murphies were prior to Shipping Up to Boston getting played before kickoff, but it's been a staple for over 13+ years now and everyone comes to expect it and knows it. I think the problem is the songs they choose currently for various things like the walk out are changing from year to year and they're not always well received. Pick something and make it ours alone, then stick with it.

What's also cool is while his music/videos are often some hard rock partying theme and have a drugs/drinking type persona, he is actually a really soft spoken, chill dude and his songs are actually supposed to have a religious undertone.

I think it's the structure of showing the team prayer. Thats why I said either do a prerecorded video every game and show it earlier in pregame or don't show it.

It seems pretty fickle, remember when they would play the Halloween theme when Michael Mayer would make a big play? Shoot they were playing the Dune theme a couple years back. Maybe there's a war going on over the soundboard
