Are you absolutely, positively; pinky-swear sure they're not Skink Boots?

What? No made from a one ton, 20 foot gator boots?

No "I rassled that sucka by hand, sucked the livin' life outta him, filleted his tail for bits; then skinned and tanned his hide."

I can picture you the cobbling the hide into size twelve hob nailed booties ...

I wear my gator boots only while on the town and typically with my spring tuxedos.

The 8-day mod training seminar in Destin Florida didnt address this scenario. Also my pet billy goat ate my mod training manual. And I tried to do it while Spot fishing in the Folly River.

Oddly enough; I have vacationed at both Destin and Folly Beach. Good times!

One of my roommates "back in the day" was from Charlestown, Mass...real rough Irish Catholic area of Boston...so, I went up to visit him one weekend, and damn near his entire crew of guys he grew up with and who we partied with all weekend were wearing "buck shoes".
I knew not to make fun of any of them but it was hilarious how this group of guys who were some real tough SOB's ALL wore them.

Apparently modding on a cell phone does not work well. I was trying to move the LL bean convo into a new thread. It appeared I had done so but then like five minutes later everything had mostly gone back to normal. Anyway.... No offensive stuff occurred and any deletions were because I messed it up. I am just now checking back in. Carry on

Those freaks grow beards because they want to show how manly they are.

I grow a beard because my face hurts if I don't.
If I started growing a beard now, I might have a good one in time for spring... 2021.

:verysad:

And who in the hell drinks cold coffee?
World champions drink cold coffee, that's who.

Snow and Tailgating Saturday...

Things for the yuppie:

Craftsman tools

Nailed it. I have seen more than once in a garage: $1,000 Craftsman bench w/ drawers that looks like it was taken out of the box that day, and it is filled with another $1,000 worth of hand tools that are so shiny they would blind you if actually used.

"Yeah, had that set for about 5 years now, thinking of upgrading my power tools. (Points to pristine 18 volt Dewalt cordless drill, bench grinder, belt sander, and circular saw without even a hint of use)"

No self-respecting yuppie buys actual tools.

Sounds like you know from experience.

I bet your garage has the following tools:

- empty can of bee spray
- bike tire pump
- a multi tip screwdriver
- a flashlight with no batteries

Who the heck has an empty can of bee spray and not multiple cans ready for when that single bumblebee gets too close?

How does a man sized man wear dress slacks that are unpleated? I'd look like Robert Plant the banker if I stuffed myself into flat front slacks. Plus, the front pockets would become purely ceremonial.

There are too many levels of Craftsman tools to make a blanket statement like that . It's like saying Kenmore appliances.

My Grandma's gonna be pissed. 92 and now a yuppy. That's what she gets for drinking Wild Turkey & RC while ordering her Domino's on her smart phone.

You actually wear pleated pants? That's just Wooly's default joke insult to me but I don't actually wear them.

RC Cola..........Brings back great memories of my grandpa who died in '61. He was a poor coal miner who eked out an existence with my grandma. He loved to drink RC, but it was something of a luxury for them. However, every time we visited them in SW Indiana, he'd get out these little juice glasses and share his RC with us.

While it wasn't intentional, thanks NDC for bringing up a fond memory.
