Can't believe they're cleaning house when their 2 assistants were rumored for HC jobs....

In their three years:
-1 safety making an inexplicably horrible play on the ball.
-Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Buzzsaw.
-Manning getting hurt.

I really don't understand how they could've been "coached better" unless you say that the gameplan for the Super Bowl was pretty terrible.

What I am hearing from some fellow Bronco fan friends is that that tweet is a bit of an overstatement. I am hearing Elway has given all assistants permission to interview for other jobs and in the absence of a head coach, they should take advantage of that. We will see how it pans out though.

I think he does eventually, but I'd expect at least 2 more years at Ohio State and probably 3-5.

It looks like the Jets and Raiders have filled their vacancies... Buffalo is already off the market. I guess that leaves Denver, Atlanta, San Francisco and Chicago (who appears locked in on Fox).

The off-season coaching attrition continues at the University of Alabama has BOL has learned that outside linebackers' coach Lance Thompson will accept a job offer from Auburn coach Gus Malzahn as part of new Tigers' defensive coordinator Will Muschamp's defensive staff.

Thompson's departure will mark the end of his third stint at the Capstone, previously coaching under former Tide coach Mike DuBose before two stints under Nick Saban (2007-8; 2012-14).

Thompson is currently the nation's fifth-ranked recruiter per 247Sports and was instrumental in securing commitments from current Tide pledges/signees Ronnie Harrison, Dallas Warmack and Richie Petitbon. Thompson was widely considered the national recruiter of the year when Alabama claimed the top-ranked recruiting class in the country in 2008 behind the strength of landing stars Julio Jones, B.J. Scott and Mark Barron from Mobile.

Thompson's exit marks the Tide's second coaching departure this week with inside linebacker's coach Kevin Steele leaving Tuscaloosa to accept Les Miles' opening for a defensive coordinator at LSU.

Del Rio to Raiders being considered a "done deal"... first reported by Huntr of IrishEnvy :)

John Fox to Bears seems probable at this point.

49ers with heavy interest in Adam Gase in addition to some other options... still a bit of a mystery with Atlanta, same with Broncos. They could both go a couple different ways.

Del Rio wants Trestman for OC and Mike Smith for DC. I'd be down with that.

got ya, thank you. he can still suk a d.

Pritchett has a lot of ND fans that follow him that have far, far less knowledge about current and former coaches than people on this board. He's trying to put the name in context for those people, not trying to be a douche about ... what ever you think he's trying to be a douche about.

Not that he needs me to defend him from some random dude on a message board, just pointing out a different perspective.

Easy Huntr. It's more about media always trying to tie in ND at every turn. For example, "Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish Defensive Coordinator Corwin Brown taken to hospital after self-inflicted gunshot wound." What about former Michigan defensive back and captain, Corwin Brown? I get the perspective, but I'm also sick of the drag-ND-through-mud approach.
