my other half is heading up this weekend to visit her cousin who is a student at CMU. She will take in the CMU-Miami Ohio game if she is not too hungover. Expect an extremely detailed scouting report Sunday evening fella's

This game will be very telling for me as to the true identity of this years team.

Packing up the family for their first trip out to South Bend. Its been 10 years since I've been out there. Any tips on game day parking? I've always been lucky enough to be with friends who had parking passes. From what I could tell, the "pay" lots appear to be pretty far away.

You say that as a spoiled resident in a Mediterranean climate. I'll take 2 weeks of 117 in Scottsdale before I'd take 5 days of 95 in South Bend or East Lansing. It's like breathing whipped cream when it's like that.

Never again unless I'm sitting on the beach at Stop 2 in Michigan City.

Believe it or not, we have high schools around here (Lansing) that called half-days today and already for tomorrow due to the heat. Wtf...? Snow days, fog delays, and now Hot days.

I walked to 10 miles to school uphill both ways barefoot in 103 degree weather and that was after milked 200 head of goats.

Stop 2 in MC is one of the best beaches in the country in season.

Water temp in the 70's, soft, beautiful sand, freshwater and you are the top of the food chain the second you walk in.
