So, not exactly breaking news as of now, but UGA's top returning receiver Jeremiah Holloman was booted from the team regarding an investigation stemming from an incident with his ex-girlfriend from last spring.

Huge loss. They were already woefully inexperienced at receiver and now they have to replace the most experienced and arguably most talented of the group.

Barrett Sallee blew this loss waaay out of proportion on ESPNU radio yesterday...IMO. If you look purely at returning #s, it’s a fair case to make but to act like it will torpedo their chances sounds like excuse making. Pardon me if I don’t feel sorry for an SEC program who loads up on 4/5-stars every year...in addition to a 5-star transfer WR to boot.

I'd rather beat Georgia - whooping an SEC team on the road will carry more weight than beating Michigan again. Makes my vomit a little bit to say that though.

Prime time game makes this one even tougher. They'll come out rowdy and that crowd will be drunk and loud.

FUC! MICHIGAN..... always and forever. In no situation should losing to Michigan be acceptable, never ever.

The first time since 2010 that the ONE (!) CBS primetime game of the season isn't Bama/LSU.

You should not be friends with those people.

If they are relatives, you should move and change your name.

Lifelong friend, college roommate, you'd think he knew better.

We actually do have a relative who tried the fall wedding thing and caught so much flack from the family for picking the fall that he changed the date from a Saturday to a Friday.

I'm very bitter about this one.

My best man got married during the 2010 men's olympic hockey final. He got married at a mountain lodge that had a huge bar across from the area of the lodge where he had his wedding. At one point he made a comment to me about why every male kept leaving the reception... I told him flat out he should have known better... lol

I remember that game like it was yesterday. It was a rematch from group play when the USA already shocked Canada 5-3 so it was even more hyped. Good stuff.

There is not a chance in hell I am missing this game, so I will pull my buddy aside before the wedding and let him know I will be glued to my phone at 8PM.

It's not my big day, I'm just obligated to be there haha. No shame. I only get my Irish 12 days a year.

Honest to goodness, the older I get the more apt I am to just go with it. I can skip just about any single game (that isn't a title game or the like) for any one of my teams if it's for some big life event or whatever. Just a few years ago you would have never heard me say that... IDK, just shifting priorities I guess. Losing my father prob has something to do with it if I had to guess. I still care deeply about sports and my teams but don't get worked up nearly like I used to and I'm almost never in the 'my life will revolve around this game' mode anymore.

That very first comment... SEC fans from the south live in such a freakin bubble... it makes the bubble some ND fans live in look reasonable. lol

Yeah I got a kick out of it, 4 of his last 5 tweets were just roasting idiots.

They are hugely in a bubble. It's very bizarre. Then again, when you never leave the conference borders it sorta makes sense.

Perhaps ND folks are a bit more worldly since ND plays all over and against teams from all over.

Running through a weak ass schedule while losing to Mizzou at home sure did wonders for Florida's rep last year didn't it? I guess when you're not ND blasting Michigan somehow matters...

The whole SEC was overrated all of last year after LSU beat Miami and Auburn beat Washington to open the year. No one ever bothered to check back and realize that neither of those wins were impressive as they first seemed.

Auburn nearly lost to Southern Miss last year. The notion that @Auburn is the toughest game on Georgia's schedule is a joke.
