F*ckin pumped we made it to this point and can talk about football, matchups, and kicking ass.

Thoughts and prayers to the "shut it all down" crew. It's on. As for this Saturday...I hope ND has the ability to run, run a little more, and then run some more. All. Day. Long.

Wow! Did not see that coming. And we all assumed he meant RS frosh when he said a frosh would play. Love it!

Brock as your #1 TE as well. Really interested in this year's team. Alot of family names but at the same time there has been a lot of change from last year's team.

People paying a little too much attention to the depth chart, IMO. Some of these listings are nods to seniors who have worked very hard.

Also, depth chart was/is definitely affected by COVID. One position group was hit hard and is still feeling the effects, and a key player at another position also ended up behind the 8-ball because of it.

I’m guessing you’re talking WR because of what we expected from Lenzy and idk if it was unreasonable expectation for a freshman, but I fully expected Jordan Johnson to at least crack the two deep.

9 of 22 starters 5th year seniors. Nobody can use the excuse "we're a young team" this year.

I doubt that anything on this depth chart reflects Coach's well-known honoring of veterans --- he manifests that bias when he starts Spring practices and then it goes out the window when considering real games in the Fall.

Yeah, I think it's because people will get in big trouble. I can tell you six names, but then I'd have to kill you.

I don't really care about names, but can you share what position group was most impacted, and how many of the 6 are now clear?

I completely agree with that. Lenzy is the starter. Lamb will play a lot. Keys will be the starter.

Anyone know if Kelly is still doing a "presser" for opponent breakdowns?

I know he used to always do them on Mondays (Labor Day).

He did yesterday. It’s up on YouTube.
Ohhhh. I thought the was the depth chart / fall camp presser.

I haven't seen any tweets summarizing his comments on Dukes team (don't know much about their roster)

Thanks!

It was typical coach/presser speak. The way he talked Duke up, Notre Dame shouldn't even show up on Saturday and Duke needs to be in the NFL.

Classic BK.

Though I do think Duke will be a formidable opening test. Cutfliffe is a very solid coach and he'll have the boys ready.

I could definitely see a similar game to last year @ Duke; they'll come out firing and motivated, certainly we will show some rust, but I think we'll take a two score lead into the half and run away with it in the 2nd.

Yeah, his typical go-to. Was wondering more-so about the star players that he usually highlights.

I have a feeling we will cover -19.5 fairly easily.

They have a pretty good d-line and it should be a good week 1 test for our offense. Actually, their whole defense will be a good week 1 test for Rees.

They have nothing to write home about on offense.
