I have a friend that I've known all my adult life. We're usually best friends. But she casually roots for Michigan because shes from there.

I've asked her so many times tonight the same question that she told me with a serious face to stop it.

"Hey, I heard a team didnt win at football today. Didja hear about this.?"

I seriously might be endangering a long friendship.

If you just PIIHB, all will be forgiven.

Alcohol talking.

But....probably my only complaint. Thought there were a couple plays where they should have been able been playing up and weren’t in position for the cross routes. Gilman is a GD beast.

Overall they were fine, but Shane is horrid.

Did Pride give up a catch? Never heard his name called so I assumed he just locked it down.

One of my favorite things all year will be Harbaugh turning around after going down 14-0 and turning into a cheerleader. We punched them in the mouth and he turned cheerleader. Classic Harbaugh.

The only team our STs dominated was ourselves:

* Illegal procedure
* Late hit
* 20yd punt that led to a FG
* Conceded a kick return for TD

Both teams hit a FG, so what's a wash.
We dominated them in all facets of the game. And won!

I think with MTA our likely Kurt hinish slides back over or Jayson a starts getting more reps as a freshman. These next 3 games id like to see the young freshman wR’s get more involved Austin, lensy, and Lawrence keys

Good first quarter. Our offensive staff needs to get better.

Is this for real. Honest question, do you actually watch the game? We scored 21 in the first half on a defense that some think is one of the top 3 in the country. Lol.

And, we didn’t get lucky. We won that game as the better team, clearly.

We need to stay aggressive longer. Yes i understand that after half time the o-line didn't play as well as they did in the first half. But when we got a good lead they took their foot off the pedal and went to a more laid back type of offense. I don't care we didn't beat them 50-17 (although that would have been nice) but we needed a little bit breathing room.

That sounds like a personal issue, no? We dominated them in the 1st half. It was a beautifully called first half and did what we needed to do in the second half. I get wanting a more aggressive second half but how could you call out the offensive staff after that game

Most analysts gave us no shot and many thought Wimbush would crumble. Instead we hung 21 first half Pts. It was a brilliant gameplan

The first quarter was perfect. I did not expect that but i was very happy to see BW throw the ball down the field like that. My opinion is that they should have tried to adjust and continue the aggressiveness a little bit longer before going to cruise control.

All except that ole pigskin sage... Luke Bryan. To all who questioned having him as the picker, TAKE A LAP!

That stunt they run where Kareem circles around the right side and pushes the QB right into Jillery's snatch radius is the kinda play that will have Lea taking over for Mason in 3-2-1.

Def Game Ball 1 = Kareem

Def Game Ball 2 = Jillery / Gilman (tie)

Off Game Ball 1 = Wimbush

Off Game Ball 2 = Armstrong

They were practicing that during camp. Even if you know it’s coming, Kareem and Tillery are a handful to block in that situation. Two studs.

I go back to that quote from Kelly “we have good player too”. Yes we do coach, yes we do.

Fact of the matter is that, when you have 3 receivers on the field who are 6'3" 220+, you can dominate college football games if you execute correctly.

This could be an enjoyable season.

Wimbush? Why? His "best" play of the night was am ill-advised throw into double coverage on which his receiver bailed him out for a touchdown.

I have maximum hype about our defense but I'm still super uncomfortable with the quarterback play.

Lol, of course it wouldn’t be good enough. That was by all accounts a top 5 defense we carved up for 3 qtrs.

Do people not realize that after 3 qtrs we should’ve had 4 td’s on the board if not for a called back TD pass. He was great last night.

Come on Wiz. Long & Wimbush went right after the replacement safety who almost made a play on it but... GOT BEAT for a TD. And IF it had been intercepted, it's a nice punt. High return, low downside risk.

Wimbush was 54.5%, had just 1 TO, somehow got sacked just twice (Book would have been sacked 10 times) and WON vs the team your own company told us was one of the TOP 3 defenses since the 85 Bears... or something. Are you taking a stand against your company? Be careful or Donald and Goofy will escort you out on Tuesday morning.

Wimbush did what Wimbush needed to do to beat Michigan and what is in all seriousness, a top defense. And that's something 60% of the folks here didn't think he could do.

I agree with NDCrusader's assessment. Wimbush was solid, not spectacular, but solid. IMHO the key was his response to the interception. Unlike last year, there was no "Deer In The Headlights" look. He returned the next series ready to play. Could that be some of the Tommy Rees influence?

As someone who wanted Book to start, Wimbush was the offensive player of the game. And yes while his best play was a jumpable ball that probably should of been intercepted, he made a ton of plays with his legs that extended almost every drive. Not to mention he looked in complete control of his emotions, not letting himself get rattled. I’m glad we get three games to clean up stuff to get ready for Stanford and Dex’s heisman campaign.

Thought it was cool at the end of the game Kizer and Rees were both locked shoulder to shoulder with Wimbush for the alma mater.

For what it's worth JessePalmer said on College Football Final that wimbush played a good game and did exactly what he needed to do to win and to not let the stats say otherwise.

I agree.
