Ok. If it wasn’t for an outstanding performance by the d-line this game is much different. The offense was non existent after the first quarter. Should have never been this close.

I am very happy we got the win but a better team and coach at least ties that game.

Okay, I watched the entire game don't want to appear too adversarial. Going into the game. we had a great D-Line.... so did UM... maybe even better so we were told. We lost two All Americans on the left side of out offense. You can't replace those guys. That being said, our running backs and receivers never benefited from those accolades for identified reasons.

Brandon Wimbush is back. Tall and fast receivers, Claypool, Boykin, McKinley. These guys are all athletes, but proven in our first game, they want the ball. Greatly improved, BW hit them all on the numbers or radius, Our O-Line was spectacular against a supposed Top 5 Defense.

At the end, we won. Beat the point spread and dominated most of the game. Michigan has a great team but Notre Dame got no respect. Respect now, Go Irish and Cheers!!!

And for the record, I though we would beat them by 14. In a few private messages, I adjusted that to 10. We have a great D but the O had some variables.

I think many of us are comfortable tonight.

Ss did a lot better than I thought. CBs decent, but not as good as I thought.

Don't understand all the people talking about how bad michigan's O/QB play was. I thought Patterson/MCCaffrey/Patterson looked pretty good most of the night.

Great question. I saw very few problems with the "D". DL. LB's and/or DB's. A few mistakes (bad luck) but no problems overall. Really proud of the efforts of the lads. Wrapped them up early and often. Not being facetious, but great job guys! Cheers and Go Irish!!

But....probably my only complaint. Thought there were a couple plays where they should have been able been playing up and weren’t in position for the cross routes. Gilman is a GD beast.

Overall they were fine, but Shane is horrid.
