The last game in maybe my favorite Rivarly.... If you are going to spend the money, this is a good one to spend it on

I'd be interested to see this list updated in a few weeks. There's a shortage on the secondary market right now because many of these games haven't even sold their face value tickets yet. Until this week, the only people who even had ND-Michigan tickets to sell were season ticket holders. Now that the lottery and alumni pre-sale have happened, there should be a brief surge in supply with prices settling down to a true steady-state.

Actually, prices have been spiking up sharply now that lottery participants missed out. There is a huge uptick in demand from those who didn't win the lottery, and very little uptick in supply as the lottery winners aren't selling.

I had great seats for the ND vs USC in 05... Sold them cause someone offered me 900 for the pair... Watching the game from home... I was mad... never again will I make that mistake

I'm in OH and my brother is in WI (along with two of my friends who might go depending on the price), and with us traveling so far to meet for the game, it'd be really michigan-ny to be left empty handed outside of the stadium. They'd kill me. And I don't want to scalp because this will be the last game I go to for a few years (and my brother's first college game ever), so I want me and him to have the tunnel/kick off experience.

We haven't actually bought the tickets yet, but considering it.

Unbeknownst to Wooly, we're crashing his house so that does cut our costs a bit.

Thanks.

All I can tell you is that I go to 3 or so games a year. I have gone to campus with and without tickets for those games. I have never had an issue with finding a ticket on game day in South Bend. It can be unsettling for some to make the trip without a ticket, but I can almost guarantee you that you will not pay more on game day then you would with Stubhub. There are always people selling on Angela.

Said otherwise, I'm not like gkIrish. I don't have the balls.

Growing up in UCLA land and being used to 50 dollar tickets idk if I could ever bring myself to pay hundreds, let alone thousands for a single ticket to any game... Even ND

Same. I may pay up to $100, maybe even $200 if I knew ahead of time the game was going to be an epic matchup like 2005 USC, or something fun like 2008 Michigan, but the later is about impossible to predict. To date I've never paid more than $80 for a ticket though.

The highest I ever paid was $250 for the Charlie Ward Fla State game...was worth every penny.

That would be cool if you paid under $100 for UM tickets this year considering face value is $110

Well poop, I thought they had an allotment of single game tix for every contest.

They did have single tickets available for Michigan in the pre-sale, but they went quickly. Same with the UNC game. They have single tickets left for the Stanford game. The Rice, Northwestern and Louisville games as well as the Purdue game in Indy are available.

Trying to figure out the logistics. Thinking about catching a flight out of Atlanta, staying in Chicago, and taking the metro in. Any advice from anyone?

two real options-- north indiana commuter rail (or south shore) and the amtrak. not sure rail is going to be the best bet with time of the game. almost positive there is a train heading this way after the game. also, getting to and from the rail stations could be difficult. not sure where am track station is in south bend. south shore is out of south bend regional airport.

my guess is to hook up with a bar in Chicago and do a ride along. I'm pretty sure citizen bar is doing a ride. makes one to two stops leaving town for some libations, pulls in for a tailgate, and leaves about an hour after the game ends.

if you do in fact stay over here in chicago, may just want to rent a car and park off campus. i know this can put a damper on party level during the day, but i don't think you'll find a train schedule accommodating.

I always fly into Chicago and rent a car. I'm hammered before the game, and the four hours in the game I sober up to make the hour and a half drive back to the Chi! Would probably have an extra spot in my car if you run into a jam!

Thanks to everyone with suggestions. I might end up doing the rental. What're we thinking these end up getting scalped for? I'd like to bring a friend. My dad got a single ticket ya the USC night game three years ago for around $300 right before kickoff when the scalpers were getting anxious.

I paid $530 for a pair on an ebay auction. I told myself when they announced the hiatus in this series that I would be at this game no matter the price, and I feel $265 a ticket is a steal compared to what I've seen on Stubhub and elsewhere on ebay. I don't care where the seats are, I just want to be in the stadium for this epic game!
