Lol speculation of Chip Kelly to Texas. The Eagles would have to blow the rest of this year and next for him to get fired.

Funny how Andy Reid got the Eagles perennially to the playoffs, but Chip Kelly can go 1/3 and keep his job somehow.

I think one way or another if the Eagles win 6 or less this year Kelly is gone.

The NFC East looks like hot garbage so similar to the NFC South last year, I could see a fairly poor team make the playoffs which very well could be Philly. In which case he probably keeps his job.

However, the part that is fairly convincing was that all of these changes Chip made, were his choices. He got the GM responsibilities, made the changes he wanted, and the team is noticeably worse. I'm not sure how you can keep that guy around. Taking a 10 win playoff contender and dwindling them down to a shell of the team they were last year.

They won 10 games each of his first two seasons right?? I really don't see why he would be under that much heat currently... (obviously if they only win a few games this year then yeah...)

Obviously I'm biased but the Giants may actually be a pretty good team. They were up two touchdowns in the 4th quarter against both Dallas (pre Weeden) and Atlanta (now 4-0) but blew the games. The schedule is relatively weak. I'll be surprised if they finish worse than 9-7.

Though they won 10 games both years they essentially regressed from year 1 til now. Making the playoffs with 10 wins, then 10 wins and no playoffs, to what look like a non playoff year at the present. Also, he completely dismantled the team. Why dismantle a 10 win team? He didn't have to. Also, some of these personnel decision look very bad at this juncture. Bradford is operating this offense at a snails pace compared to Foles and even Sanchez did last year. I believe they are also paying Bradford 10 Mil more than Foles this season.

My money is on the Gmen at this point going forward. If the Cowboys were able to go .500 during Romo's absence I think they'd still have a shot but that seems like wishful thinking now that they are 0-2.

I was fairly critical of the move when it occurred but somehow I gut sucked in to some of the hype over the preseason and drafted Bradford in the 11th rd. in one of my Fanball leagues. Needless to say, that might be a wasted pick.

Really impressed with Texas' efforts on saturday vs Oklahoma. Kids really played with emotion and Heard and Jefferson are growing every week. Two really great foundation stones there in Austin for next few seasons. At the end its obvious the players really believe in Charlie Strong. It was an awesome performance that does ND's strength of schedule no harm at all

Just think if Texas would have won vs Cal and Okie State. Would be 4-2 and our schedule looks a lot better. Ifs and buts, ifs and buts.

They've still got a long way to go, but Texas is trending upwards and I still think Strong is building something good there. The game in Austin next year could be rough if their OL is stronger and Heard is the starter.

I loved Strong crowd surfing the team. That was really cool and felt awesome for the guy. He needed that big time.

Jefferson is a monster, kid will be a first rounder no doubt. Man amongst boys out there.

Yeah the game has everything there is to love about CFB to be honest. Really great atmosphere, and just goes to show what can happen when folks are patient and actually give coaches opportunities to turn things around.

Well, I really thought Texas was getting better as the season went on. They beat Oklahoma and Kansas State in back to back weeks, and it looked like Heard was the guy. Then they laid a goose egg today against Iowa State. Swoopes had most of the passes, dunno what was going on there, but Strong is definitely in trouble after that showing.

I was at the game last night. Up until the last drive of the half, Texas had -3 yards passing. They ended the half with 8. Against Iowa State.
