Being a Texas fan right now has to be just about the worst thing in the world.

It's gotta be tough, but other than week one, they haven't gotten skull dragged. They have the peskiness to ruin at least one other team's season. Congrats to them I guess?

I hate to see this happen to Strong but he might be done at the end of this season.

Texas fires strong.

BVG gets "promoted" to NFL.

ND hires strong as DC and HCiW.

Profit.

I think they'll get better as the year goes on, but yeah...the administration may lose their patience and give Strong the axe. I think they could be decent next year if they keep him.

I legit kinda feel bad for them.

Like, what AWFUL ways to lose.

Two weeks in a row.

I'd only wish that on my worst enemies aka Michigan and USC...probably any other overly obnoxious fan base too ie OSU and Bama.

More Twitter news. The Texas Rangers "accidentally" tweeted to Fire Charlie strong.

Steven A just told him to get out of Dodge and head for Miami (When Golden gets fired). He built his resume on Florida recruiting, I fear him at Miami. I don't use the word hate much but I still hate Miami and the Irish have to play them often now. I don't want Miami to be good and I think Strong and Miami are a no brainer - perfect fit. Yuck. Here's hoping he gets it done at Texas instead.

Part of me would like to see Miami in the top 25 to help out ACC SoS and help balance out FSU. Those Holtz Miami games were so classic it and doesn't have the Anti-Catholic bigotry of the B1G big dogs (UM and OSU) that I wouldn't mind Miami coming back so much.

Texas needs Strong more than Strong needs Texas.

I could see Charlie and Texas parting ways respectfully at the end of the 2016 season unless things really turn around in the next year and a half. I also anticipate 2016 to be Steve Spurrier's last season in South Carolina and could see the Gamecocks bringing Charlie back to his recruiting wheelhouse and the relative comfort of the SEC.

If Strong can find a way to sneak past Oklahoma they have a more manageable schedule to finish the year out with until they get to Baylor in their last game. They played Oklahoma pretty close last year, they just need to get it done offensively.

I'm all for them being a #15 to #25 team. Too scary for me to think about what I fear Strong would do recruiting in Florida at that school. I don't want it awakened to that level.

Speaking of Miami, lots of speculation of Chip Kelly to Texas. He'd be great there, but he'd also crush it in Miami and maybe change the whole program around. The speed he could get in Florida would be mesmerizing.

Every program in the nation should go after Chip if he became available. Would be fascinating to see where he might choose to go.

Nightmare scenario - Sark tanks and Chip expresses interest.

I'd wonder if Chip would mesh well with national traditional program like that though. I'd say he'd rather the full control a more good but not great program might give him

If Strong goes to Miami and Chip Kelly goes to SC. I'll start watching Soccer on Saturdays.

Apart from the show cause order (which I think makes him a non-starter from ND's point of view), I wonder how Chip's bachelorhood would play with the ND faithful. I mean, obviously the university is fine with older unmarried guys but my guess is that some will see an unmarried head coach as a walking scandal-in-waiting.

Lol speculation of Chip Kelly to Texas. The Eagles would have to blow the rest of this year and next for him to get fired.

The best thing to happen to Chip's employment with the Eagles was Romo and Bryant going down. With those two out the division is still wide open even though they look terrible.
