This game will be like Purdue ... it won't be easy but I think we will win comfortably.

he works for fox, not espn if that matters

I was talking about Fortuna lol. He was the one with the initial misrepresentation of BK's comment that gave Mandel the ammo.

I'm way more upset about this than I should be, but it was VERY clear that these guys both jumped all over it to get a reaction immediately, disregarding the actual context. It's alarming to see two big CFB reporters so eager to create a controversy for the Twitter mob, even with such a tiny, off-the-cuff quote.

Fortuna's a *****. Not a fan.

CORRECT! i have a strong dislike for him as a reporter..i feel he just regurgitates other's work as pieces for espn..and they are always like 2-3 days later

But you are reacting the way that those ass clowns want you to.

If it makes you feel better, flame away at them.

But, when I read these things,

If you watch the Kelly interview, he was clear that getting in at 3:30AM to 4:30AM on Sunday morning makes it tough on the players making it to study table at 4:00PM on Sunday. That is all. He was talking about away games, with 8:30PM kickoffs.

I think his point was appropriate. All the networks and opponents see what enthusiasm and excitement ND is creating. With many teams it is their only sell-out and chance for national prime time exposure. So everyone is penciling in ND late. Fine for them, but he was just expressing the burden it puts on his team. Remember, this was originally anticipated to be an afternoon game. And now Kelly sees everyone wanting to play a night game . . .

Can't blame him one bit, for anything he said, didn't say, etc. And I agree with him, why let everyone profit off of his teams back, when all it does is put an extra burden on his players?

And the thing is these fuzzy sports reporters know that!

Reading the Rivals/Keith Arnold breakdown of Syracuse, sounds like their a solid team. Too bad they lost last week while physically dominating Maryland or this game would be more exciting to the outside eye.

Looking at the box score one would think Syracuse dominated that game. What the hell happened?

Any word on Amir an our other injuries from the Purdue game? The injuries make me more worried than normal that Syracuse has a chance at upsetting us.

Amir is out, Cole Luke is back, and Collinsworth is the back up to Redfield

Any stated timetable for Amir??

Kelly said he would be Questionable for Stanford, and Kelly is usually optimistic with timelines.

Not good news.

I'm excited to see Hunter Jr. He should get his chances, the position is hardly CJ's. Tori was my pick for sleeper of the year for that class, and so far he's literally done nothing, but I thought his film was awesome.

Eh, he had to learn for a year and then hit some injury bad luck.

He's got plenty of time, especially when you consider a career like Amir's: Play as a frosh, transfer, miss a year for injury, essentially lose another year due to losing your job... and still have time to iron things out.
