Twelve of the fourteen SEC teams are projected to bowls - all except LSU (sanctions) and Vandy (0-9).

Alabama - CFP
TexasA&M - Orange
Georgia - Peach
Florida - Cotton
Auburn - Citrus
Mississippi - Gator
Miss St - Birmingham
Arkansas - Texas Bowl
Missouri - Outback
Kentucky - Liberty
Tennessee - Music City
S. Carolina - Gasparillo

LSU - sanctions
Vandy 0-9

Ark, Miss St, and Tenn are 3-7
S. Carolina is 2-8

Not counting LSU, six teams are ,500 or better - all conference games.

Texas A&M vs North Carolina is by far the most intriguing matchup to me. If the Aggies end up losing that game it’ll be hilarious.

Only five SEC teams have winning records - Bama, Georgia, Florida, A&M and Auburn (6-4).

You really see the impact on their records if they don't play three easy non-conference games with, in some cases, one competitive game and why they do not want to give up the D2 games or play only three non-conference games.

Why they pay these exorbitant salaries and huge buyout to coaches who have losing conference records and where some of those (SC, Tenn, Auburn, etc) barely make it to bowls is beyond me.

Early line has UNC as a 5.5 point favorite on a neutral field lol....

Like I understand why people think/know that Notre Dame is going to get killed by Bama, but the idea that A&M has a better claim to the #4 spot based on talent or resume is simply anti factual.

TENN giving recruits $$$$$ in mcdonald's bags when they came to visit...can't make this shit up...dan patrick also said about georgia getting sloppy as well w/ recruiting

I also heard that Georgia was under the microscope. Wasn't on the DP show, so this may have some validity.

Reminds me of a story from a long time ago. Was meeting some friends when one finally arrives with a big grin on his face. Said he stopped at McDonalds and asked for a large root beer with no ice. Took off from the drive thru but had trouble putting his straw in the drink. Takes off the lid and he finds a bag of pot! Evidently the guy working the drive thru was expecting to make a transaction with someone he didn't know and the code word must have been, "large root beer with no ice"!

I wonder if they have a code word? lol

Remember that scene from LOTR where Pippin causes the chain and bucket to fall into the well and it just keeps going and going and going as its crash to the bottom seems never ending? Well, that's UT football. They've been on an endless, noisy crash for over a decade with no sign of the bottom yet.

It is interesting that quite a few of the coaches fired from Tennessee all came from Bama and now the Georgia staff is being talked about and some of them came from Bama...
