It’s my understanding that Biden was making some political concessions to assuage the NATO countries and NordStream was one of those. I remember reading something about that a while back. Makes me realize what a massive shift in German thinking has occurred recently with them going along with stopping the certification of the project completely in response to Ukraine.

As far as requiring Ukraine to show military forms or whatever you said that’s literally normal as condition of foreign aid. That’s the complete opposite of what Trump did. Conditioning aid on positive steps to improve the stability of the country by removing bad actions and bad actors is a legitimate condition of aid and signals an intent from the country seeking aid to make positive steps to joint the club. Everyone knows Russia has been attempting to destabilize Ukraine and it’s efforts to join Europe. Trumps request for dirt on Biden to Zelensky is a literal corrupt act. It’s the complete opposite of what a stable democracy is about and is exactly the kind of corruption Russia used against Ukraine and what type of corruption the US wanted to see Ukraine remove.

I’m not defending one or the other as I’m not in the room but it can’t be overlooked that we were in weaker position regarding NATO when Biden over.

I don’t think you can say we weren’t a pro Ukranian country up until this either. We clearly know how important Ukraine was as we have been supporting democratic efforts in the country for decades. Maybe not as fervently as needed but multiple presidents have had their hand in this honey pot. Clearly there have been ups and downs and Russias interference and corruption of the process has been clearly documented. But to DC it’s a very important geopolitical entity and we would be right helping them to form a stable democracy and become a contributor to the world economy. That’s in addition to adding a further block on the democratic eastern wall. People saying Ukraine doesn’t matter to the west is best said in the original Russian language (meaning it’s a Putin talking point)

So Biden only greenlighted Nord Stream 2 to make Germany happy so they'd stay in NATO (even though Trump was already out so perhaps those countries already planned to stay in)? But he knew he was strengthening Russia and weakening Ukraine but it's Trumps fault for #multitudinousreasons? And Biden withheld aid but it's ok because that's always done?

I can accept the last point but it all leads to a further weakened Ukraine. I understand the sentiment is "the West loves Ukraine" but our record with Ukraine over the past decade isn't weighted terribly heavy in their favor. And this idea that Biden's missteps are only because he's been making up for Trumps bigger missteps is weird.

And funny enough, no country has rescinded their membership in NATO but it was such a virtual certainty Germany and France were going to leave, Biden had no choice but to make concessions. You see why this logic is circular and difficult to believe?

Trump did terrible shit.
Biden does everything right except when he does things to make up for the stuff Trump did.

He also rightly stated there is a group of people that are labeled as "conservatives" that aren't conservative or republican. Basically....anyone in/associated with the Lincoln Project.

John Weaver (a pedo) and his buddies aren't conservative. If they were, they wouldn't have flipped to advocating for liberal policies as soon as Republicans quit hiring them. They are mercenaries. They aren't pro or anti-Trump. They just like money. Which is perfectly fine....but let's label them correctly.

I've been asking this constantly and I can't get an answer. Why don't we have independent contractors operating drones all over Ukraine?

I read everything you said, not sure what story it is. I guess the story about how people don't really understand you?

I never voted for Trump, FYI. I truly despised the man but I could also recognize the few good things he did. Most of the rest was bad. His continual turnover of positions under his leadership was the clearest indicator that he was looking for "yes men" and was a threat. His transition from power was a true threat to democracy and he's caused countless people to no longer believe in our political system.

Apologies for any reading comprehension deficiencies, I'm reading quickly and responding even quicker in between tasks outside today. Beautiful day in the midwest!

I’ve said it before but I don’t think it’s people don’t runderstand me. It’s more that posters don’t respect my opinions for any number of reasons and I’ll never be able to convince any one of anything. I’ve given them plenty of ammo over the years. Your response is a example of this. I don’t try to convince anyone of anything. I post my thoughts and generally found to be unappealing to many members of the board. It’s Cool. It is what it is. That’s ok. I’m not smart and I am a terrible speller.

Maybe I misunderstood the TLDR in you post. Anyway I don’t think I defendenBiden and I did say that I’m not saying one was right or another wrong. Prettty sure I have said that many times in my posts today. Yes I do believe there were political back scratching done to reassure NATO allies after the last few years. Absolutely. Nordstream was very important to Germany.

I'm a typical conservative guy. I've literally never heard of AFPAC. MTG is a loon and even she made some statement that she didn't agree with him I think.

You can claim there is some substantial pro-Putin movement on the right side of aisle, but the data doesn't back it up. The majority of Americans, and a supermajority of Republicans support the government's actions against Russia.

You are free to create some weird boogeyman. I dont care if Nick Fuentes is "verified" on a social media platform, much less a platform with a small user base. There are "verified" people on Twitter with like 1500 followers. Some dude went on The View yesterday and said the Constitution is trash. He's verified. Sl

I didn't see what he said. If he's advocating for using US military personnel to drop bombs on Russian troops, then his view is reckless.

Apologies if you intended it as satire. Sometimes its not clear via text. Lots of people are advocating for crazy actions that escalate things so forgive my misunderstanding of your intent.

You are right it’s gone on long enough. You can deny that Two US congress people attended this conference and spoke in terms similar to what NickFuentes daily promotes. My point stands that it is a part of the GOP and people know it. You can deny it as is you right. Whatever.

Don't have the answer to your question but I have read russia has mercenaries in Ukraine fighting and is bringing in more.

So I wouldn't see much difference if there were hired western mercenaries going in.
