Screw it, I'm with everyone else. That's embarrassing.
Sooooo, hearings concluded at the end of next week, and then it will take another four weeks to form a committee responsible for announcing the results?
Brian Kelly: “I don’t have an opinion. And I wouldn't want to share it publicly."

FWIW: No one I ever talk to about football an ND gives two shits about this whole saga. At this point we could reinstate all of the guys and no one other than the media would care.

I keep assuming that there must be some complicating factor that forced them to take an extended period of time to investigate or to check for every possible contingency.
If that's not the case, then this is absolutely embarrassing. Bizarre and shocking would be two other adjectives I would use.

BK did allude to this being the first time as far as he knows of a committee like this being formed.
.."by the end of NEXT week??"... goodness, if the committee is formed just move forward already.
per BK press conference: committee formed and student athletes to have hearing by end of next week (if all goes as expected)
You can't just jump into the Announcement Committee, you need a Search Committee to select its membership. And that's without accounting for the committee that puts together the Search Committee.
If any of the guys survive this thing, I don't think we see them until Fla State. It's tough being an ND fan at times with all of the self inflicted wounds.
So my question to that group who was all for student equality is; If ND is not going to hear this case equal to a regular student why is it not fair for fans, players, coaches, etc. to demand a process different than regular students? Is it ok they are being treated different as long as it appears ND is being more strict with the athletes?
ok so i know there were a few folks here who were big on the "they shouldnt be treated different than other students" idea (can't remember who through all this clutter so i apologize). Now we are told they had to form some committee that has never been done before. How is that treating them like other students?
I find it hard to believe that no other time in the history of ND has there been a group of kids who were caught plagiarizing or cheating.

IMO they are given an extra priveledge that regular students are not so they should be treated differently (more strict), but that also comes with this should have been expedited.
But I see the equal is equal group has nothign to say as long as it appears they aren't getting positive preferential treatment. Can't have it only one way IMO.
